Everyone asking "where is the banlist?". But no one asking, "how the banlist is doing." 😞
Fr fr 😩
Thus made my day
they be ruining our lives, where tf is the banned list lmao
Its okay, I asked in a ruling video, may the Konami gods answer
That list fucks me over harder then anything else in this world fuck that lists feelings 😂
It's so cool to see the 2nd ruling explained further. You judged this ruling for me at our most recent Regionals!
Yah I decided to look more into the logic behind it like why does it work and how does temp control change apply...
I wouldn't be good if I didn't study up
I really wish you would do more of these, they really help!
Finally the restock! Just bought both. Instinct will look so good on my Rikka Sun. Don't know what deck I'll use Ego for but I'll figure it out!
That scene at 1:08 was not an edit. its just a snap change.
Totally D Barriered an opponent's Psychic End Punisher, and called synchro. Watched him squirm so hard trying to prove that "Punisher keeps his attack boost" 🤣 so glad I didn't let it slide, thanks to Tom!
If you also had my friend purrely on the field, do they trigger in the same chain then? And you can therefore chainblock it?
If it was destroyed by Battle and sent to GY, it would trigger yes and likely form a chain as they would have the same trigger timing
For control change, does the rule you mention in the video also apply to cards where the change of control is permanent, for example if you use Number 10 Big Eyes and take control of Shooting Magestic Star Dragon, if you activate the effect of the dragon what happend in the end phase ?
At the moment if cards have permanent control change occur, even if the monster is returned it's returned to the current controller.
Honestly don't have the details,
Temporary control change, removes the change effect lingering.
Permanent control change, is already applied to game state? Maybe that's logic...
@@MSTTV There is a ruling on Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon VS stolen monster with E-Con/Creature Swap.
TLDR; permanent change allows it to stay there.
For reference qa#11474
Here is the text:
Q:My opponent has taken control of my monster using Creature Swap or Enemy Controller. If my Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon then battles that monster and resolves its effect, which field does the monster return to at the end of the Battle Phase?
Furthermore, if my opponent has instead taken control of my Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon using Enemy Controller, battles my monster, and resolves the effect of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, to which field will Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon return to at the end of the Battle Phase?
A: If your opponent has taken control of your monster using Enemy Controller, and that monster is banished by Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's effect, the monster will return to your opponent's field, then immediately return to its original owner's (so your, in the situation given) field.
If control was instead taken using Creature Swap, the banished monster simply returns to the field of whichever player controlled it at the time it was banished (and remains there).
Additionally, if control of the banished Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon had changed due to Enemy Controller, it will also immediately return to its original owner's field after it has returned to the field.
Finally, if control of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon had changed due to Creature Swap instead, it will simply return to the field of whichever player controlled it at the time it was banished.
So mikanko dance - mayowashidori can also trigger in gy if it was previously equipped?
Is Kikinagashi Fucho affected by Tri Heart or Bagooska? Also, do you also have to show your opponent what you added with my friend purrely?
Here is how I interpret, damage calculation step has already been completed, end of damage step begins: Happiness activates adding you a card, and halves a monster. The original attacks values applied in damage calculation, and whatever monster that would be halved is now halved moving forward in the game state. Thoughts?
The monster is sent to GY and activates in GY. There are specific wording about a monster needing to be on the field if they need to meet a end of damage step trigger. Otherwise treat it was both Destroy by battle or having battled.
For plump vs gamma, if you banish the gamma instead of the driver will that also stay on the field after? Or would it be banished unlike driver
It would stay on the field after. The effect that applied to it isn't applying anymore
Nice sleeve color change, magician move right there
Although not meta can someone explain Ohime Mikanko effect to equip from grave and why it doesn’t target ?
It only targets the Equip spell in the GY but does not target who it equips to
Those sleeves actually caught my eye and that says something. Instinct for main and side, ego for extra. That's how I'd do it.
🔥
Question, where can the light hex sealed effect be applied legally? As a fusion substitute using branded fusion or Albion/lubelion
It can function as sub for Fallen of Albaz, but not if you use branded fusion as you must send a fallen of Albaz (a monster with the designated name) to use it. If you use most otheri fusion summoning methods you can substitute I believe.
Fusion Substitute effect applies while that card is in the hand, field or GY. So you can't use it in the Deck/Extra or when it is banished.
For example using Branded Fusion, you still have to send Albaz + your substitute of choice. Then the dragon can use the substitute for something like Dragoon because you can "cheat" Dark Magician in the GY. But if you sent the Light Hex, summon Albion by banishing Hex + Albaz and FS Lubellion, that Lubellion can't FS a Dragoon using the now banished Light Hex as the "Dark Magician".
Imagine a link monster being a tuner would work.. bc of it having no stars basically counting as 0 stars. So could actually make lvl 1 synchro monsters a thing outside of ursarctic polari lol
How would you compare the purely scenario with war rock fortia? I’ve heard another warrior had to be on field in order to complete search
If your EARTH Warrior monster battles, after damage calculation: You can add 1 "War Rock" card from your Deck
Fortia's timing is after damage calc, The trigger occurs before the monster is sent to GY for destruction. It activates on the field. Fortia also meets that condition as well even as this mosnter is an Earth Warrior. HOWEVER, you still need to be able to do all the mandatory parts of the effect: The Attack boost. If Fortia is alone and is destroyed by battle, and there are no other war rock on the field to boost, you do not get any parts of the effect. If Fortia attacked and is still alive at the timing of the trigger, Fortia can activate even without another war rock on the field.
Trigger condition does not state it needed to be ANOTHER earth warrior, but you need to meet the THEN part of the effect as well.
@@MSTTV Thx!!
I still am not too sure about the purrely happiness one. Most cards that mention damage step only get the effects if they remain on field. An example I can think of is fire fist gorilla destroying a monster by battle, it does not get the effect. I could be wrong on this one since gorilla has when text but I think it still applies here
Think Jujutsu master getting attacked..if it died the monster still get bounced.
I did some research on this, and as always, yugioh is a game of hard rules with lots of cards that make exceptions, like he said in the video, the end of the damage step has the hard rule of that is when monsters are actually destroyed as a result of battle, so like many “during the end phase” effects like card of demise and yosenjus, certain actions have equal opportunity to happen, so you choose to resolve the on field effect within the same window that it has to be destroyed by battle
@MST.TV ok that helps a lot actually. The effect that halves makes sense that it doesn't happen, but now the first effect makes a bit more sense
@@Psyckonautic leave it to yugioh to have confusing rules and phases
on psychic end punisher ruling, is it unaffected while the LP is lower? so it cant be negated by scareclaw kashtira?
Unaffected by ACTIVATED (key word) effects. Scareclaw kashtira does not activate
Activated effect.
So with this in mind, can I out the NOIR by Attacking with fenrir while Scareclaw Kashtira is faced up on field ?
@@Pendulumnew1 Yes, exactly. It forces Noir to use 2 materials at the START of the BP in order to spin back Scareclaw before an attack is declared. If Noir's controller waits for the attack declaration, Scareclaw's effect is already applying so both the protection as well as the quick effect are already negated.
Can you use Triple Tactics Tasking to set under droll?
Yes, but you can only set the card.
I answered (incorrectly) that Epurrly wouldnt be able to activate at all since its now in GY, so its very interesting to see this kind of interaction, that even in GY/banished monsters can still get their "if this card battled" effects
Yea, I also found out in play testing that the effects of the Manadome tuners and field spell will still summon them back even under shifter/ariseheart and such effects that banish 😮
@@Pendulumnew1 that was fairly common knowledge since the cards don’t specify Gy
Tbh im more interested in things coming OFF the list.
true
How do i explain to people that stormforth can out a 5 material noir
because it doesn’t count as an activated effect right?
Stormforth isn’t treated as an activated effect. It’s a lingering effect like Abyss Dweller or (sneakily) Mirrorjade’s boardwipe.
It just gives you the ability to use the opponent’s monster as tribute material at any time during the turn.
say it work like kaiju
Expurrley Noir is only unaffected by activated effects (which means exactly when a card or effect resolves on the chain, Noir is unaffected by the opponent's effects at that moment). So yeah, you can use Stormforth (which give you the ability to tribute an opponent's monster this turn on resolution), then tribute Noir afterwards even if it has 5 materials at any time in the turn after that. Another example would be that Crackdown would successfully take control of a Noir with 5+ materials if they let it resolve (it is unaffected when the activated Crackdown resolves, but it continues applying even AFTER that point so you gain control of Noir).
@@Lawler50431 Interesting, would the same scenario apply for other continuous traps with Crackdown like effects (I.e Fog Blade)?
Does your merch ship to KSA? kingdom of saudi Arabia
i think so, unless your country has a sanction.
Banlist was excellent
Why not do another video with this format also maybe duel nishi and we can see what he likes this format.
I will duel Nishi
Its still irritating to me that psct doesnt do anything to clear up what is and isnt an activated effect.
Bucko - PSCT literally tells you if it activates or not with a distinguished “:” or “;” , this is a matter of you understanding what tools PSCT uses to give players information
