It is a mystery how some CZcamsrs are so popular. But, I do know from reading the comments that it's the person's personality that keeps viewers coming back, not so much what they create. What I see in your videos is someone who strives for originality. And, what you create is not only original but interesting as well. With this Crafty Hall project you have proven that what you create has a sense of value that exceeds mere popularity. Concerning burn out, you do what you have to do in order to keep your channel and crafting enjoyable to you!
@southernbiscuits1275 Thanks, Wayne! I was keeping up the pace until I hit 2,000 but it's going at a snails pace. I'll change and recharge my video schedule after this month. I'll need this long to get thru Craftly Hall!
I have enjoyed this a lot, I watched Crafty Hall videos by Jodi Lewis, you and Miss Tommi. This is really not the type of story line I usually enjoy but I am now hooked! You have worked so hard on this and you will need a break to catch-up on your own you tube watching and to relax. I will definitely keep watching whatever you post, I like how real you are! ( I hope that makes sense) I plan to use some of your ideas in other types of journals. 🇨🇦

Hi, been enjoying your vids on craftly hall :) I'm late to watch and I like how you did a full journal, was surprised no one else did. As for the mystery of the chairs and masked ghost/people, I'm thinking with a cemetery on the property, that there would be all different types of ghosts that could have been buried there. So who knows how many trapped souls could have been there causing troubles :). I do hope you decide to do a Halloween journal, your story telling is very enjoyable. Thank you for your vids.
@surfnmom1 Thank you so, so much! I always think along the lines of a journal and was surprised seeing everyone do tags. I may make a few more of these journals in the future but taking a rest from it for now. I am making a Halloween journal. It will be Gothic & Poe. I'll be showing it with a few other journal plans on today's video of 'Whats on my desk".

I am enjoying this series, love to hear about the story line. The footprints on the floor is awesome, love those. We have had a rash of stuff breaking, one thing breaks down then everything goes. You are the only one I've watched that has totally embraced the story. The other artists have made beautiful tags with some great ideas but yours has followed the storyline. I want to make an evidence box and use the extra ephemera to make tags as "unknown evidence" or something like that. I can see how this can take over your life, it will be hard to let go!
@alysonsmith6998 Yea. I haven't seen too many do an exact representation of the story. Jodi Lewis was the most exact of anyone. But she let her quirky come out. He he. Your evidence box sounds interesting! I'm going to be making some items sort of along that vein but that goes in the journal. Like a set of smaller pages that will represent his files. Or a photograph album sort of scrapbook. I'm going to miss working on this as well when it's over!

Somehow I had lost your channel, I am sure Idid not unsubscribe but am glad I found you again. I am loving the story and did buy the kit. I did make the case file and started the prep work for what I want to do but probably won't get back to it until fall when my granddaughter is back to school. I am enjoying watching you especially since we have some similar ideas. I plan on making some type of lapbook with journal pages included. We'll see....

You Tube has been doing some strange things of late. Glad you found me again! I've been trying to work up how I'm going to finish and bind this journal once I get to that point. That'll be near the end of July. It's so much fun. I'm hoping that she comes up with another cool idea and story for her August time period. I saw someone say they assigned one of the background pages for each room. I thought that was a great idea, as I never thought to do that. I'm all about creating from paper, but lately I've been trying to add more creative elements to interact with. Thank you so much for watching! Hope you can get back to yours soon!

I love your layouts . The story gets better each time you add to the journal. Really enjoying it. I agree with you about getting bored with some crafters. I found crafters with the lower subbies are more creative. Some of the bigger people command an awful lot of money for …” in my personal opinion “ a very plain and generic journal. No personally in it at all. If that’s what some people want that’s fine. I would rather say “ oh look at this awesome journal with all these interesting interactive pieces. The person who made it is really creative”. Not …” look I got a journal made by so and so. And it only cost me $280.” I am only subscribed to a handful of crafters where I comment on their videos. But I do watch others if I see they are making something that is unique and different. Doesn’t matter if they are a big channel or a person who has 100 subscribers. I’ll step off the soapbox now LOL🤪. 🌼🌼🌼
@jodimartin4250 I so agree with you on the issue of lower subbie crafters having more creativity. I'm now becoming bored with 49 Dragonflies. And for all that Luise Heinzl is super creative, she over talks alot. I am so appreciative that I'm one of the few that you watch and comment on! Thank you so much for that. And I'm so glad you are enjoying the story!
Oh yeah. I like the story. Keep it up. And after you're done with this, you'll need some time off. Don't want you getting burn-out!
@user-zg8yh1ig2y Thanks so much! I've thought about trimming back my videos, like 2 on and 1 off, or something like that. I think Zach wants to start working on stuff for outer upcoming trip, so may need days to work on that.
I’ve noticed that Alice seems to have had the most activity. Rose has had a little and Jeffrey really just the one occasion. Maybe two. Maybe the ghosts felt like the ladies would be more apt to listen. 🤷♀️ I used to have some of those stickers. Lol. I used them in my Sherlock Holmes lap book I made for Jania for her birthday. ❤❤❤❤

Trying to think of what makes certain journal youtubers so popular. I suppose watching what they do might help. What makes them so interesting that everyone can't wait to see a new vid by them? It's a small number of people. They have strong and unique styles of journal making, I think. (Not gonna name names lol everyone has a different idea of who is "popular"). But I skip around too, depending on who is making what. I like the more unusual journals, so I bounce around a lot. Guess you didn't want a whole chapter on how to be a successful youtuber 😂 Don't take my word for it, I don't even have a channel 😂
@hushingsilence Thank you for your input! I think I may not have what it takes to be a die-hard you tuber. I have certain ways I'm approaching my videos and what I'm sharing. They have some cool intros or special effects they do. I may be too lazy to get into all that. He he
For me , I first have to be interested in the title , then I have to like how the person shows what we are to do . I do not like the fast play video's I am an old and slow turtle. It has to be interesting. And I would hope I like the person doing the video. These days my list of people to watch is getting shorter. For me I am still going back and watching what you have done. You can not be boring Rhoda your brain makes mine tired. Just do what makes you feel good , we will watch when you post simple .

I appreciate you watching some of my old videos. My list is getting shorter too. And some of the most watched on the list don't even craft!
