the new alpha apparently does not seek revenge against knowledge, but seeks to understand the real reason for the conflict. alpha is a cynborg (a human in the body of an android) many think that alpha by his lines is just a machine, but he is what the old alpha said "we are not just machines, we are also humans". The fact that alpha considers beta as his twin brother, is not because they were created in a genetic laboratory, but because of the feeling coming from his human part. The new alpha he asks beta what he is to him, because he feels a bond of feeling with the beta.

Just read his lore, basically him and Beta were 2 cyborgs and shared a deep connection (still do) but just before him and Beta were completed, Saber came in and raider the lab, heavily damaging Beta and all that could be saved from Beta was his code which got transferred into the drone currently accompanying Alpha. In other words, Saber decimated Beta's body but didnt destroy his core which is why Beta survived, although his fully fledged cyborg body didnt. Alpha felt Beta's fear and pain and bears immeasurable hatred for Saber. His first task would've been to kill Saber, but after Beta's decimation he is more motivated than ever.
