- Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of Hasbro Legacy Magmatron. Not shown: Turducken mode. There are a couple of extra transformation joints associated with the ghastly combined animal mode and I leave it to the viewer to figure that out independently because it’s just so silly. For the record these beasts are closest to: Elasmosaurus, Gigantosaurus and Quetzalcoatlus.

Dinosaurs to Robot: 0:09
Robot to Dinosaurs: 1:14
Speed run to Robot: 2:20
Speed run to Dinosaurs: 2:41
2x Run: 3:03
End credits: 3:25
Production Note: Had a bit of fun trying to float parts.
Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.

Gives me real 19th century paleo art vibes.
real interesting to see how on earth Hasbro/Takara manged this chimera.
really gives me a craving for more small team combiners
Magmatron awesome
Very cool video peolesdru
I have him camping in my pile of loot on BBTS. Probably cancelled the pre order 3 times until finally seeing reviews.
It's solid.
I was really hoping for the dinosaur centipede. It's not silly, it's a beautiful disaster!
A wonderfully cheesy design, but I must give Hasbro credit, they engineered this really well. A figure with that bizarre of a conversion could easily have been a mess.
They borrowed quite a lot from the original.
Nice! Couple steps you did miss transforming him though. His toe spikes are supposed to jut up between the dino toes in robot mode, similar to DOTM Shockwave. Also the Seasaurus' tail is able to fully fold up in robot mode to get out of the way of the Gigasaur's tail, which frees up a lot of his waist articulation.
I'll have to check that out later!
Magmatron, terrorize!
Question, Why Didn't you do this 3rd mode? The combined Beast mode?
If only I had said in the description!
@@peolesdru Oops, I forgot to Read the Description Before I Comment about it.
Awesome!
Can't believe you skipped chimera mode or whatever it is. That's how I l'm keeping him for display... or I would if I had enough room.
Sorry, I just don't like it.
The foot spikes fold way farther up. It's supposed to look like they are claws coming up between the toes. Too low and you can't see them and they serve no purpose
Thanks!
"not shown: turducken mode" for shame.
Lovely figure. Are there any good figures with a motorcycle alt?
I'm honestly struggling to identify something as the "best motorcycle figure". Maybe other commenters can help out. It's hard to think of one that would fit my important criteria for if a figure's transformation design is "good":
No partsforming (this dq's a LOT of motorcyclebots)
Accurate alt-mode (very rare)
Cool robot mode (hardly any fail at this)
Nope
Don't worry, the FansToys version will be better!
@@deftone330 actually, I don't care about this one at all
@@lynnesauer6008 I know, I was just joshing you
