    Brixi's music always gets me exciting! I dont know why but his music contains enormous amounts of energy and joy.

    I would love to hear more of Brixi's symphonies. Alas this looks to be the only one that has been recorded to CD.

      Like really??? You have never heard of Dvořák, Mysliveček, Michna, Brixi, Smetana, Stamitz, Vejvanovský, Zelenka, Janáček, Martinů, Černohorský and many others? I am sorry, for our school system that they can educate people they don't know how important were Czech composers.

      @@davidpelc I suppose that schools do not have anything with that. Do you suppose that in any country in world on two basic level are kids learing on such facts?

    Today's Classical Corner... Prague's Brixi, very reminiscent of Mozart, who also died young, around the same age.
