I had allergies while recording this if you can't tell lol
Cool. Shalom.
Sample it next time, tweaking
and do a hit with it ☀️
Man, super glad to see my track as your reference ❤❤
Banger by the way ❤️❤️
that sneeze transition 😭😭its so good, fire song man 🔥🔥
people might think this is a problem, but when you think of it, theres no song ever that isnt inspired from something else. this is a great representation on how to take inspiration and ideas from other people, while making it unique to yourself. i have PLENTY of songs ive made which have vague ideas taken from other artists, but the thing is, you'd never even notice. great vid brother
Love your content bro I've gotten you recommended before. Keep it up :)
@@Akayo_Music ayyyee appreciate it bro
such a pleasure to see my collab on such an insightful tutorial! I totally agree.
I've very recently been working on a remix of my song I Feel The Love, but it sounded way too hard and percussive for what I wanted.
So I kept listening to "As It Was" from Harry Styles in order to steal the mixing, because it had this energetic yet melancholic and soft mood I was looking for.
At the end it doesn't even sound like it in the slightest, but it really helped me get the mood I wanted.

This really isn't stealing. It's just inspiration.
this is my approach to most things in life lol
bro hope you remember me! proud of how fast you grew in the span of like 2 months! crazy dawg!
W music production youtuber
Hey bro thanks for all the comments and support you're a real one haha
bro will blow up
this is how you improve man! copying how to make other tracks! you learn SO much that way
valid. the art of referencing and trial and error are something that can take a bit of practice. but once you are able to reference a style and implement it in your own way you are then able to expand upon your own ideas further.
Wow man! Interesting video! I absolutely agree, the inspiration comes from any track you listen to, I really liked the idea.
best sneeze transition lol
Thanks a lot for your sharing your experience 🙏
This is the way. Nicely done explaining this, I use this all the time
Sick final result
I've recently been watching your videos and follow your tips which has helped me me out a lot! Keep up with your videos.
This goes hard bro thanks for the tutorial!
Amazing video man!!!
bro ur amazing
keep doin those vids
nice one again!!!!
the layers go crazy, surprised this doesn't have more views
I've actually stole lots of chord progressions over the years and just created my own stuff out of it. chord progressions are meant to be stolen and it's actually quite amazing to put my own spins on such lol
That's fine, although anyway, it would be better to learn about music theory (the basics) and mainly listen to a lot of music (any genre) I assure you it's twice as good because your own chords feel more genuine and real, besides being reassured that you will never get someone complaining about certain “chords”
haven’t made futurbass or any kind of edm for such a long time… this video made me wanna try it again, thanks bro! Keep up the insane quality
This video is great! it's nice knowing I'm not the only one who does this. the loop you made really gives me bad computer and dion timmer vibes; would love to hear it on streaming! ❤
You have no idea how much I crave for this kind of content.
this is totally the technique i use when im making full flavour refrencing 5 to 7 tracks for genre switch. great vid man already sub 🍺
God damn bro. There's no way your parents or someone close to you isn't a god in the studio!
I've been producing music for the last 20+ years and you blow away 99% of the adults I know!
This is more common than everyone thinks. But its also one reason why many tracks tend to sound similar
let the man cook
Hehe the sneeze transition
Sick vid! I approve, btw one trick you might wanna do with drops like these is its always good to have some melodic pads having some atonal feature for a more airy sound, the way you do is put Soothe2 on it if you have it and try to find a sweet spot by removing some tonal character from the pads and then use a plugin like Fresh Air as well for giving it some more Air. Trust me it works like a charm
All the songs are already out there. I was once with a guy who wrote an amazing song on the guitar. Kept telling him he should record it but he never did.
Fast forward two years and we are sitting in the kitchen and Losing my Religion comes on the radio. We were both gob smacked. It was his exact melody and rhythm 100%! If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have believed it.
Just yesterday my daughter showed me a riff she had written on the guitar. It was Dust in the Wind 😂
Even when you try to be original it's impossible.
So there is little shame in ripping things off really. As long as it has something of you in it it's fine.
disperser on kick is such a based move tho
bring more videos brotha .... MAKE SERIES TYPE VIDEOS BASED ON SPECIFIC GENRE OR ARTIST
bro the sneeze transition 🤣🤣🤣
it should be in the sample pack
Hey My Guy I Don't Know You But Your Sound Is Definitely top Notch. But What Caught My Eye Was Your heading. i am a Gospel rap Producer Your Heading troubled me because i don't feel we alwats have to look at the darkness in us to Be inspired We all Have Light To Be That Light All We Do Is Ask God To Let Us Be The Light For Oyhers To see Thats My whole Reason For Doing Music In The first Place I Make super Dope Beats None Of Them are Corney But He allows Me To Be The Light Not Preaching At you Just an observation God Bless you Brother. I Am Saying This Because The Music I Make Saved My Life Real Talk.
🎉🎉🎉
I used to produce like that, after failing so bad at music production I started to create from scratch playing with my midi and writing down ideas… I know it takes way more time but every track I produce now is getting released on good labels so I think producing from scratch is better than this.
yeah no this is i feel like what every top producer did in the beginning
When i was a kid we just call that remix. Thats how i got started back then
You don't have to steal in order to be the "listener" and find out what sounds/chord progressions etc. are being used in professional music.
All you need is time and ears to listen. I know what sounds good not because I steal from other people, but because like a sponge, I soak up
game from other musicians/artists that I listen to and I then can easily apply what they're doing into my own music if that's what I choose to do.
In other words: there's nothing new under the sun. However, different points of perspective.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Hello! Good job! How can I contact you for a remix?
Thank you! You can DM me on Instagram @akayo_music or email me at the address in my CZcams bio.
Makes sence and a regular practice however I would saay this is why so much music sounds the same, because they basically are copys of the same thing.
can u suggest some free serum presets :,)
My free sample pack in the description haha
Thx Ill steal your music
Recreating artist's tracks and reverse engineering them is very beneficial, try re-making a Tipper track....
Wait. Is this a reupload?
It's not haha
@@Akayo_Music now that feels strange. I feel like I saw those tips from ya already!
come brutally criticize my chill beats pls
GREAT ARTISTS STEAL
Cool video and i get your point but calling referencing a 'dark method' seems just dumb and click baity 😂
