i don't know if it's the camera or the lighting, but i've never thought of your skin as red. it looks more like hyperpigmentation on your lower face, like an orange/tan undertone.
I think the lighting is making my skin appear more "tanned" but I do have some hyperpigmentation on my chin no doubt with a bit of redness.
Could you post a printable version of your day and night skin care routine?
I began using Tretinoin a year ago this month, and I’ll never go back. I’ll always have Tret
in my routine. I’ve been using Good Molecules AHA/BHA glycolic toner, The Ordinary Lactic acid, TO Salicylic acid in Squalene, and TO Argiriline solution….all of them every night, and this routine has dramatically reduced, almost cleared my severe hyperpigmentation on my cheeks! I will always use this regimen
Your skin is so radiant and beautiful without makeup. I do struggle with a little rosecea and I've seen finacea on my local drugstores websites. I'm planning to get a prescription of it so I can finally get results for my redness. Thank you very much for sharing your evening skincare routine. It helped me on my choice. 😁😁😁
Aw thank you so much for your kind words and I am glad you found this video helpful🥰
I’ve been a subscriber for awhile I genuinely thought you were around 25!
Your comment brightened my day🥰
Thank you for sharing your nighttime skincare routine.
Of course! Happy to share my routine anytime 🥰
Awesome nighttime routine 💗😍 I can’t use the mist on my face I always breakout, which I hardly do naturally, don’t know why it does that but I am using it on my arms where it’s a bit crepy with body lotion/cream on top and it’s perfect. Have a great day 🤗
Thanks so much!!
Love using SDSM on my body before cream 👍🏻 Have a lovely day as well!
I have paired trentoin & azalaic acid for sometime too & have had equally good results. Helps keep my rosacea under control.
That is amazing to hear 👍🏻
I use my prescription azeleic acid in am and tretinoin in pm. I didn’t know they could be use in one routine… hmmm interesting. I definitely need to do some more research about this. Thanks for sharing
I just did a routine with 4 products and thought I overdid it.
This routine feels like a lot. The products are cool though.
Have you tried Osmosis for the redness? People’s have great reviews with that product.
No I haven't but have heard a lot of great things about that brand..
Hi Miss Ash, I am so glad I found a great Canadian channel. I am 46 and have never used a prescription retinol cream. I am so scared it is going to make my skin feel and look worse but I am not happy with my creapy eyelids and forehead lines. Can you help me navigate this process. Do I just go to my family doctor and ask for a prescription?
I’m from Brasil 🇧🇷 and Your vídeos helped me to use tretinoin without irritation. Thank you, ❤
Aw I am so glad to hear that🥰🥰
Not sure what you pay for your Finacea 15%, but I get it and/or Azclear (20%) Azelaic Acid from Chemist Direct Australia without prescription. Extremely affordable.
That's great! Here in Ontario it's a prescription and I believe I paid $4 for it with coverage but I am not certain how much it is at regular price.
Love watching your skin care videos! Do you have any affordable alternatives for the items used in both your morning and night routines!
Your videos have taught me so much and I am so appreciative!!!! I watched your previous PM routine video and you were using the Glow Recipe niacinamide, wondering why you stopped using it. I have been using Tretinoin for 6 months, but wanted to add some more products and the Glow Recipe looked great.
amazing routine, your skin looks beautiful! ty for your transparency and sharing why you like each product. i have been meaning to add finacea to my routine foreverrrr!
Thank you so much🥰 Finacea is a game changer 👍🏻
If I use the mist and let it dry down can I use my LED light mask after that?
Yeah you could do that..
thanks for sharing your night time skincare routine. You have a lovely skin :)
Thank you very much 🤗
Thank-you so much for sharing your helpful ideas ❤ it really helps a lot ❤
You are so welcome💗
Hey hey! lovely routine! :) I also saw that you have been using thr LED mask for a long time already, I would be so curious to see a video on results, either photos or even you telling us what you noticed in terms of all - firmness, fine lines, scarring or skin discoloration. I am considering to buy but cannot make the choice if it is worth it specifically for skin elasticity purposes. Or maybe you can just reply and let me know here ;) greetings!
I’m doing Obagi Nuderm right now and my skin is wrecked! I also put my tretenoin on the tops of my hands too😀
Eek! Sorry to hear that☹️ but that's great that you can apply tretinoin on tops of your hands 👍🏻
Thanks beautiful 🙏🏻 I do your exact same first 6 steps but I cannot yet tolerate retinol/acids or anything stronger like tretinoin yet.. one day… I can’t even use retinol on my neck :(
Thanks for teaching us all this 🙏🏻
Have you tried the "sandwich" technique with Tretinoin or Retinol? You apply Moisturizer first then Tretinoin or Retinol then Moisturizer on top? I find this helped a lot when I first started using Tretinoin a few years back.
Love your nighttime routine, I use the ordinary mist and loving it, also the ordinary amino acids b5, funny enough people have said to me that my skin is looking good x
That is amazing to hear!! The NIOD mist and Amino Acids are must haves 👌🏻
Discovered your channel a few months ago!! Love your videos and I'm learning so much!! Can you share where your necklace is from?
Thank you so much❤️
My necklace is from My Name Necklace!
merci.
I have a Melasma, what products of The Ordinary to use??
Good morning! Great video.
I use the same strength Tretinoin 0.05. In sask I pay 20$ for a tube. I recently ask my doctor for a .1 % prescription. When I went to pick it up it was a gel product in a pump bottle and was 90$!! I left with out it! The pharmacist said that was the only form it was available in.
So if any of your Canadian followers get it in the cream form in a tube please comment!
So for now I will stick with the .05%!
Thank you!!
My mom has the 0.1% gel and has been trying to find the cream version but my aunt was able to get a cream 0.1%. I think it depends on the pharmacy or who is prescribing it. Pricing might be different is Sask then here in Ontario. I am not sure how much it is here for the .1% but perhaps it might be more than the 0.05%.
@@SincerelyMissAsh
Thank you for the information, I am going to check with a couple other pharmacies here and if I can't find it in a cream I might try a in saskatoon as there are other stores I don't have access to, as much as I would like to try the .1% it's not worth 90$ to me! As so many studies show the strength isn't as important as compliance!
Hi Ashley, thank you for sharing your nighttime skincare routine. Do you use Tretinoin and Azelaic acid together how many times per week? Thank you.
I use both together yes and I use them 5-6 days a week.
Thanks for the video! Do you also use vitamins or things like collagen in your tea or as an intake? And which ones
I do! I will link up my supplement video here: czcams.com/video/CMm_LdfkIxQ/video.html
Do you have any suggestions that may be close to your eye products that would be less expensive?
The Ordinary just released their new Multi-Peptide Eye Serum which has peptides. I am currently putting it to the test and will do a review soon😉
Thanks for the video !! I have been waiting for it! The Amino acids+B5 is so good
Have you ever try Stratia liquid gold? I use it every day and I love it (loaded with ceramides+niacinamide+fatty acids)
Would you say that the difference between 0.025% to 0.05% is noticeable? I'm using 0.05% 3 times a week (week 5) and I feel it dry my skin quite a bit (I do pair it with azelaic acid 20% tho, no prescription for it in AU). I'm thinking about moving to 0.025%
Thanks!!
No, I haven't tried Stratia before but will def looking into it!
I did notice that my skin is more clear with less breakouts with the 0.05% and also my skin overall looks more improved so I believe there is a difference between the two strengths but of course we are all different.
How was your skin before using Azelac Acid with Tretinoin? This might be why your skin is more dry as I find this pairing is causing more dryness around my mouth/chin. Also, you have only been using Tretinoin for 5 weeks so dryness is quite normal especially when you are new to it. As long as you are not experiencing a lot of sensitivies/irritation I would continue with that strength but that's just me 😉
You may need to play around to see what pairing works best with Tret to find that sweet spot🤗
@@SincerelyMissAsh For my liking Stratia is mi fav, I do use a more occlusive one at night though.
Sure, I have compare your vids from years ago, and you can definitely tell the difference . Not sure if it only because of the tretinoin (moving from 0.025 to 0.05) or maybe consistency through all this years, but, your skin is glowing.
My skin was pretty ok before, but I was using retinol 1% + Azelaic acid 15% for about 4 months, I assumed it was too mild, thus I moved to tretinoin 0.05% and Azelaic acid 20%. I don't really suffer from any major situations in my face, except some hyperpigmentation under my eyes, the dermatologist says it's because I didn't use sunscreen when young, so now that I'm on my way to 40s it shows.
But, same as you. Time to time 😊
New to your channel, wanting to know if you ever tried the Dime products? If so what’s your opinion on those?
Hey there and welcome 🥰
No, I haven't tried the brand yet unfortunately
Omg you’re so young!!
Is your skin more sensitive to e.g. essential oils, fragrances, etc since you've been using tretinoin?
My skin isn't no but it can be for some people..
Do you think LRP Cicaplast is not clogging your pores? I apply moisturizer over wet face and then apply Tretinoin. I would love to use it since is OTC and reachable price. Thank you.
I don't believe the LRP is clogging my pores no. The Baume B5 tolerates well on my skin and I love how moisturizing and repairing it is.
How was the transition from 0.025 to 0.05?
I love 15% az with tret! We have very similar skin type and about the same age. 😊
Yay! Love hearing that...
The transition was pretty easy for me. I started off slow just incase as the strength is stronger but surprisingly my skin tolerated well and now I am using it 5-6 nights a week👍🏻
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thanks! I have been using my 0.025 easily 6 nights a wk for almost a yr now and see my derm next month for IPL so I know it’s a convo we’ll have based on the timeline convo we had a yr ago. I’ve been stalling bc I didn’t think it could really kick up my results. Haha. If it can, it’s worth trying since I’m even using 0.025 with 10% glycolic one night a wk - which I wouldn’t try anytime soon with the 0.05. Lol
Hi I just want to ask why are you are not using Obagi Nu Derm Blend Fx with your Tretinoin anymore? Is azelaic acid better than the Obagi blender fx? Tnx!
Hi there!
I wanted to take a break from it and try other things and I found the Azelaic Acid is more effective to reduce redness and I also find it helps to prevent breakouts which is what I need since I am breakout prone.
I was wondering where you get your tretinoin from?
My dermatologist prescribes it to me..
Thanks for sharing your products with us. You would check out Musely products to help with the redness or dark spots etc.
Can Finacea be paired with Tretinoin micro gel in the same routine? Would it interfere with the microsphere delivery of the Tretinoin?
Yes, it can be paired together as long as your skin can tolerate the pairing..
@@SincerelyMissAshthank you for such an informative video! Currently using Finacea during the day and look forward to trying it in the pm with Tretinoin micro!
I'm shocked you have never had botox (I mean that in the best way possible). I would absolutely take it as the biggest compliment ever if people thought I had botox.
None taken and I do take it as a compliment🥰
You don't use vitamin c anymore?
I do occasionally but not as often as I used to.
I'm so sorry! Your beautiful, but no way did think you were 35! Please don't be offended, your beautiful, maybe it's your manner, your so proper and that made me think you were a little older. So sorry, but your Gorgeous 😍
Thank you very much and I am not offended at all ❤️
"Rosey cheeks"and nice video 🤗😎
Thank you 😉
