When this happened and whether Atlantis really existed, no one knows for sure, but it is known for certain that 2000 years ago, the Guanches, the legendary pioneers of these lands, settled on the site of Santa Cruz.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a port city on the island of Tenerife, which is part of the Canary Islands archipelago in Spain.
The city center has well-preserved colonial-style buildings, such as the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Fans of wandering thoughtfully through the old streets will love the local Rambla, that is, the main street (Rambla de Santa Cruz).
