Some of the individuals at HPCSA needs to be held accountable for the loss of those lives because they are the ones who allowed this doctor to come back into the system after so many misconducts.
I think HPCSA as a institution should be held accountable. It can't be that some of them are so negligent to this level of playing with people's lives!
I've reported a Dr to them who is butchering patients at Leratong Hospital, they were not interested!
We pay HPCSA a lot of money annually and they miss out on things like these???
They have this thing of punishing practitioners harshly for minor offences and still ignore gross misconduct

How does a man who has been suspended for misconduct in SA and the UK wind up practicing again? Taking advantage of people. He opened his practice in Khayelitsha knowing very well that he could take advantage of the poor. Knowing that our government doesn’t protect its people.

I went to him before and my gut told me that something isn't right. He said weird things and couldn't explain what he was seeing on the scan. Felt uncomfortable and never went back

I lost my own mother to cancer and I'm literally in tears watching this, can't even finish it to be quite honest. My hear is so broken for these women and their families

2. If UK struck him off the roll where did South Africa receive transcripts for his qualifications from?
3. He caused the spread of these patients' cancer with his open surgeries.

I was also misdiagnosed by a well known gynecologist in Sandton... I completely understand and empathise with this lady. Positive I found an amazing oncology team who saved me... still a long road ahead 😊❤ keep strong 💪 🙏 lady

Heart breaking and disturbing. We need to take precautions as patients and families because the structures that are supposed to provide oversight are failing us. A friend trying to conceive visted a gynaecologist who told her she has fibriods and would need an immediate hysterectomy. The second opinion gynae simply removed the fibriods, stated there was no need for hysterectomy and warned the patient against fake doctors. Let us be vigilant.

There definitely must be sensitivity and compassion .I went through a similar situation the nurse showed me my mom’s dead body , no doctor was there , no counselling person I remember her words and coldness up to today she said there is your mom I was only 17

This was so hard to watch. So upsetting because so many people failed these patients and this Dr was left without having to account for to long. I have been using the same Gynae for 10 years now and have had two surgeries with him. I really appreciate his professionalism, care and respect.

There are so many points of failure here and the so many people/organizations that are meant to be held responsible. Not only should this terrible man lose his license, but he should be held accountable for the false and irresponsible treatment of his patient. Secondly, the hospital that hired him should also be held accountable as they would have needed to have done a background check on him before allowing any of their patients to be under his care. This patient should have also been brought up in a MDT meeting to ensure her treatment would have been done correctly. At the same time, how was she not referred to oncology? This sort of situation is sickening, this poor women could have been treated and lived a long life. And now that she is gone, no one is being held accountable.
And the fact took the women's daughter into theaters is ridiculous. This man is pure evil

I consulted with him twice in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first child, during my second consultation he kept on saying I must go to him for a c-section but my husband was like no something is dodgy about this doctor.
