    A worthy interpretation of one of the great Metal epics. Wonderful playing throughout, some tasteful additions, and the inclusion of female vocals was inspired (8:55). Respect!

    What an amazing piece of cover! But can we learn what is said in the spoken part? It doesn't sound like English.

      Thank you! indeed, it is not English, but Swedish.
      The lyrics, based on my personal interpretation, talk about the protagonist's heart-break and loneliness after his loved one's death.
      I wanted to have the spirit/ghost/mental idea of the deceased love repeat the beautiful verse - "I have kept it, the Amaranth symbol...",
      so it's that, with a minor alteration - "*You* have kept it...".
      That's what it is 🙂
