- Salman Butt is a Pakistani cricketer who is currently playing in Quaid- e-Azam League. He has served as a captain for Pakistan’s national cricket team, been a player in Lahore Qalandars and has played test series as well. He expressed his opinions on the current situation of cricket in Pakistan. Salman wished Misbah-ul-Haq all the best for his new career and said that Misbah has too much responsibility. Salman is one of best openers even now. He has paid and full filled the sentence for the past and needs to be considered based on his capabilities today. I am sure he is a better person for the experience and will bring in a lot of knowledge and maturity into the team. People have no business outcasting and judging him.

Salmon was my friends class mate Ali at Beacon house during Olelevels. My friend Ali used to say he was really good in sports and in football, his kick was great. What a talent wasted by conspiracy. I guess, Salmon butt was caught in double blow fixing by grouping, he was let down by players or lobby. Otherwise , he was such a class batsman and a great captain. He made mistake, so had to pay the price.

I find it baffling that the opinion is sort from a guy who is a convicted cheat, criminal and absolute disgrace. Salman Butt has rubbed Pakistan's international cricketing reputation through the mud, hasn't apologised for it, ensured (by his actions and his fellow perpetrators) that for over a decade anyone who puts on a green shirt is automatically under suspicion of match-fixing. He has done so much damage to Pakistan cricket, yet these ridiculous media outlets sort his opinion on the very sport he worked so hard to destroy.
