Would it work on metal? It’s a very thin metal though and I’ve just bent it quite a bit after the ball hit my face
me too...took a soccer/football right in the face as I was jumping for a header x(
@@Manlikebenj Can confirm do not try bending the metal bit, just search eBay for the same frame and replace the lens from your old pair or go to your optometrist and they will replace the lenses for you. Just make sure the codes of the glasses are the same 😅

@@Manlikebenj Not break them, but I certainly wasn’t going to risk it. I took them to the optometrist and they said it’s unpredictable on how much tension these metal frames can take etc

I’ve got a pair of 1950s or early 60s sunglasses and there’s a slight bend in the nose bridge as well as in one of the lenses. I’m assuming this would work as well. I hope.
Remove lenses b4 heating, else it will damage the coating (even if on a microscopic level). Also its best to use a plier.

I used tweezers to bend mine back in. To unsure that they didn’t break off, I did a bit at a time. And bam fixed

Oh my god. I know I might be overreacting but I cried before I watched the video. Why? I bent my glasses today and when I put them on they kept falling off my face and nose, I panicked and realized they were bent in a way. Told my dad and he said they look exactly the same. This night I tried to bent them with my fingers, like the whole glasses. I needed to search it up, and I swear I'll try this like tomorrow. Thank you, the results look good
Goodluck, just be careful and go slow. If you try to hard you can break them. So, take your time.
It seems like if the glasses are slightly bent carefully bend arm area back into position until it looks straight..in emergency maybe blow dry until you get it but be careful and cold water after the heat

What do I use if I have no hairdryer?
Does this actually work? I ran from a skunk and opened my porches sliding door to see if he was still there, the wind blew and a leaf moved, I panicked and tried to slam said door shut. Bent my side up something crazy. It's the first pair that actually stay on my head when I listen to Black Sabbath, and fairly new. I think I mildly concussed myself also, but ma frames!?

Maham Kausar aw, I'm sorry. I should have mentioned this is for plastic frames. I used to have metal frames and you slightly bend them back in place but you have to be very careful not to bend too much and break them.

I wouldn't try it with a lighter. A lighter gets too hot in one small spot and can ruin the plastic frames. A hairdryer is better at dispersing the warm air.
