There are so many things to like about this house. The sculptural blocking of the exterior, how it sits in the streetscape, the soft dark color, the sculpted and textured walls, the interesting lighting, the incorporation of big and little art, the lush comfortable seating, clever "folded screen" bookshelves ... the list goes on and on. Very successful project and home.
I find these videos so soothing. I love this home, it has some very interesting ideas.
One look, one wink is all I need, like walking into a home which you have never been in before. You can get a feeling of security and reaffirmation as well as stability. Always know how to make me feel comfortable with backdrop of architecture.

I think there needs to be a channel which shows those artists who are willing to spend their nickels and dimes on art supplies and live in homeless shelters if necessary to make the art they feel it is their pleasure or their compulsion to make. This is just style show.

I love this house and everything the only thing I will change is the sofa, the sofa design is ugly...
yes that sofa made my jaw suddenly drop. I totally understand that it has a sculptural quality and the colour of clay (tan oh!), perhaps it holds fond memories of sandcastles. However, if it is uncomfortable I can't forgive such a strange choice ha ha And yet how much fun it is to give it a poke and a pinch, probably a great talking point at awkward socials. This sofa could be his secret weapon.
