- Palma de Mallorca is definitely one of the best winter destination in the world. This stunning capitol city in the Mediterranean is full of vibrancy, culture and impeccable lifestyle. The best part is you can tour the city by foot and see all the best places, while enjoying cafe's and restaurants along the way. Winter is absolutely my favorite time to be in the city, and there is much less tourists then in the summer.

I had a work trip in late october and the weather was perfect. About 27 degress celsius with warm nights. Lovely city with so many great restaurants.

I was in palma once during my childhood, and it fascinated me. palma has everything; mountains, beach, nightlife, the round castle, mystery, history, art, shops, the drach caves, medieval courtyards, the old tramway, the pines forest... i think it's a wonder of the world.
sunbathing in winter must be a unique experience.
Mallorca is simply magic.
oh, and on February 2 (today!) and November 11, the sun causes a light phenomenon inside the cathedral, thanks to the colored glass rose windows!
