Account Level is what determines how fast you gain research. It has no direct impact on Power Level.

It does actually, once every few levels you get a bit of points from each category, which gets you to power level 20 without any research or survivors
Wrong, when you max your account level (310) you'll get 164 of each stats besides of 600 research points from maxing your research lab (120).
Just to clarify, we do NOT want more regular mythic survivors. Joel and Karolina were real people who passed away during the creation of save the world, so having them as survivors is kind of a tribute to them. If you look in the credits of the game, it says "for Joel and Karolina".
Oh whoa I definitely want more Mythic survivors but not for that reason! Sad to hear about that :(
Supercharge your Mythic LEADS first (whichever you choose it doesn't matter) and then your Mythic Survivors! If you don't have any Mythic leads you can always recycle a survivor to get the superchargers back.
Is auto fill still bad? It seems to match all personalities and everything. I can manually get better bonuses after though

I got all my survivors to five star, and I just slotted them into rando squads, after leveling them, I turned on auto fill for the mythic leads, and then re-worked the squads, got me to 131 real quick

I'd love to see a video covering all the set Bonuses in-depth. Like how the stats would change if you focus on a particular set bonus. For example, the trap durability is a popular one and something that a lot of people are focusing on since its proven to be genuinly beneficial. Though what about the ability damage bonus set? We have teddy, commando, and all kinds of ability-based-builds plus the Happy holiday team perk which makes abilities quite useful! But along with this, what if you primarily focus ability damage in your survivor squads? Will your abilities get significantly better? Same goes for other set Bonus sets like ranged weapons, melee, and trap damage .. like is it worth it?

Hey, two things: Account level does boost F.O.R.T. stats at some points which would increase your power level (though it's negligible). Also, your fort stats are not a 1xstat multiplier, but more of a 1x(statx0.01), or in other words it's a percentage boost
(your effective description of the 'bonus' buffs of the survivors is still correct though, somehow.)

Auto fill gets alot of hate, but it actually works quite well, especially if you're lazy and cant be bothered to match and slot each individual survivor, also it gets me mostly matches anyway

If you have all mythic leads, both mythic survivors, and all legendary personality matched survivors but your research is under 300 across the board you will only make it to PL122. I've completed Twine SSD10 and just reached the Twine Quest line mission at difficultly level +94.

I have in every survivor squad ability dmg and range dmg...so op 40% boost on both ...but i started get all in purple first...now im working on legy out everything ...but u need so much RNG to get the right ones

Blast for the past is most useful to use healing pads and heal your entire health but without it it only heals your health not your shield
Question, I know the other bonuses given are small, so should I still invest in like Ranged Damage and Trap Damage? or just go full Trap Durability?

I increased my powerlevel by 20 when I turned autofill off crazy!!!
I realy recomend an app its "companion for fortnite" its better then fortnite db and you can fast check whats going on in fortnite on your mobile great thing for People that work (coffe break for example) and it shows some things that fortnite db do not for example rewards for collection book lvl or specific perks for mythic heroes

If you not hard-tryer in STW and only want you casual vbuck missions - just use autofill and level up your dudes. Thats all. It will cover around 90% of you hand made max efficient squad setup.

Got a question what upgrade allows you to upgrade your builds
I've been going and matching the personality types now but my game isn't showing that any are matching? I have no idea why. Underneath its just showing a strike through, when I know I have the proper matches in the squad.
Do you know any easy way to grind for all theese survivors/survivor xp? I have what i feel is a good survivor loaudout for where i am but half of them are still level 10.
I'm focusing on my squads being as high power level as possible then getting trap durability and the other survivor perks

Do you have any information on how alerts work? I mean, I know they are random, I'm at current level and with the standard version of STW, And never receive a daily mission that would get me V Bucks, don't know if I need to spend more money in STW or level up?
If you have a purchased version of the game you should get Daily Quests in your quests page. Alerts are mission rewards that reset every day.
V12.61 made it so you don’t need bluglow to start the deliver the bomb mission. I also didn’t get my mission rewards from a mission so I think it’s slightly bugged
So sometimes in missions if your afk and dont really help out it actually doesn’t give the rewards so if that was the case then yea!

Does it pay off to have the squid members match eachother (the last icon of them matching eachother?) when you work on your squids it the discription says it ads a bonus but I dont see much change. To be clear I did not mean matching with the leader but matching eacher eachother

Stat x .01, but: 0.15% is correct.
However slotting epics is the way to go. Especially level 15-115ish? You'll run out of materials to quickly with legendary especially non matching. Ex. legendary non matching costs let's say 25% more, for a 7% buff. Basically end game matching epics should get you to PL 122 (storm king level) then you can complete all the 140s for lgndry survivors(they planned this). But matching epic get you leveled up way faster. Trap durability amazing, when it finally clicked I actually jumped from 80-87 by maxing/slotting rares (some non matching w trap durability) recycling non matching lgndary keeping respective matching epics for when I recycle the rares and supplies (puredrops/tmanuals etc) catch up.
It wouldn't matter except you don't get enough manuals/rss to upgrade all the survivors.
I.e. a maxed matching rare provides 85ish 4* power boost for 300 manuals total invested with idk 30 rain.
Unmatched lgndry provides 58 power for the same 300 manuals (225 original 75 to upgrade) to reach comparable 82ish power added it costs like another 200.(3star) + 20 more rain

I didn’t quite understand the part where you said “use highest rarity survivor for your squad members” right now I’m PL 106 I have all matching survivors but some are purple and gold would it raise if instead I used gold survivors even if they didn’t match?
Gold is better than purple even if they don't match yes. For the Lead you want matching bonus over rarity

I started playing 3 years ago and i got to plankerton and then I slowed down playing around half way though because it got really repetitive but i would still log on every day and upgrade my fort stats which eventually got me up to around PL 50-60 so when I finally got back into the game a few weeks ago I found it fairly easy due to being over leveled and now I'm at canny Valley SSD 2 as a level 70, so even now im still over leveled lol
It will lower it to about 120ish when max power lvl and you decide to auto fill
gotta question: is drift in stw and if yes, is he a ninja type

autofill got a lot better, when you're at 122 you definitely want to look into set bonuses, but up to 122 you can easily use auto and it prioritizes personality, only for legendary survivors though, an epic survivor for example if the same personality won't be used in auto, but as soon as you get a legendary of the personality match it'll replace.
