YES, it's time to HAUL ANCHOR! We finally got permission to do some shakedown cruises in the coastal Colombian waters.. our Pacific dream is still alive this year, so thanks for all your support in helping us get this far! Today is day 1, but more to come, so stay tuned! :)

NO drama! A sign of things ahead - smooth sailing, or in the Captain's case, smooth operator!! Would liked to have seen some closeups of the Lady cutting water, but there's lots of time for that. LOVE the flags - we're all patriots! I'm reminded of a STYX song - 'Come Sail Away'

Sophisticated Lady looks peaceful and beautiful sailing on the open sea. ~ The old Canadian flag was toast, barely recognizable, but the new Canadian, Colombian, and Italian flags are very proud. The Captain said he was going to do shakedown and wow he did. Sophisticated Lady is a dream come true, but we all know the Captain and crew worked hard to make her that way.

Ha reminds me getting a 55 fter ready after 2 years in Vunda marina , FIJI ready for a trip back to NZ ,The main was full of dead spiders , birds , creepy-crawlies & black from mold , Cleaned up ok = Fairwinds . Hey your looking very respectable with that hair cut .

Hi Rick. Glad the "Lady" is stretching her legs again. Just an observation from your drone shots. In a following sea , and the weight of both anchors on the bow, dont you feel that the chances of burying the bow into the back of a wave is very likely.
