How to Wire Wrap a Herkimer Diamond

This video will explain in detail - the same way I teach in my classes - how to wire wrap a gemstone. This Herkimer Diamond came from a mine in New York. It is very different and larger than any I have ever seen before. It belongs to a friend of mine, she loved the way it came out! Happy Wrapping everyone !

21 gauge square wire
21 gauge half round wire
Flat nose pliers
Pointed nose pliers
Wire cutters
Wire straighter pliers
Bail Maker
Rubber coated wire or veggie tie (for holding neck)
Beading mat helpful

That's beautiful, that's the way I would like to cage my herkimer's that I have. Mine aren't the greatest quality but they're still really wonderful for healing and energy. The one I'm making is for a man so I want to keep the top very simple but I learned a lot from you just on how to cage this type of odd shaped Beauty. Very welcome! You can cut off the top three front wires and secure them in the neck of the bail, for a clean non- embellished look!
