People hate it because it's silly. I love low cars but when it's unfunctional to the point that it's not a car anymore it's silly
It's what people do when they don't know anything about cars and how to modify them to improve performance. Actually learning something is just too much. Remember when everyone painted their rims some bright fluorescent color.....because they don't know how to work on cars, but they know how to work a spray can? And the rims with the wrong offset and the rims and tires stuck out from the car an illegal amount, that also caused the tires to get eaten up. These are the same guys who will run as fast as they can into a brick wall. Some people are just here for contrast.
I'm guessing it spawned from seeing show cars on air bags squatted… and said hey that looks cool I'm going to drive around like that and get laughed at…
Like I had a suspension design that would allow high camber angles without bearing stress… but it has travel and 4-6” ride height and the wheels Nd rims were offset so the tire was square to the road. Even in a roll or yaw. It would three wheel.
But this is skipping many steps to make it actually work.
This is worse than cutting your springs… its designed to fail and break in all sorts of ways and so presents a danger to yourself your passengers and everyone else on the road.
It's going to break itself and the road… just takes one time and this will be banned.
@@pazsion - I am ok with low riders that can operate on the road properly. They are not my thing but they are for many people. THIS kind of car, though, is just stupid. It's like making a boat out of paper. Someone who knows something about boats would never do that.
I started learning about cars when I was 16, and at 18 I had saved up enough money from washing dishes to buy my first car, a 1968 Dodge Charger (in 1982). I went to the library and copied a couple pages out of a Chilton's manual to learn how to do the brakes on it. I then changed the engine before I ever changed an alternator.
At age 22 I went to an auto tech school for a year. After graduating no one would hire me because I had no shop experience. Finally got hired at MINIMUM WAGE, but argued for more since I spent a year in school, and got $3.75 an hour (25 cents above minimum). A year later I worked my way all the way up to $4 an hour. Six months later I left the field and got a job paying $12 an hour as I was married and had a family to support.
I've worked on cars ever since then whether it was my own, or friends, family, or neighbors, and it's been over 40 years now that I've been working on cars. Even built a few engines in that time, and rebuilt and modified a 66 Mustang (my wife's).
Then I see cars like this one and wonder who thought "Hey, screwing up a car like THIS would be GREAT!" I can't imagine throwing away that much money in tires....unless they just don't drive the car? Not to mention everything underneath.
No, I hate it because it's dangerous. Imagine dragging along or behind this clown. You never know in which moment this will break down or swerve and hit you.

Dude I know. I have a G35 and seeing this kills me. These cars go 0 to 60 in 5 seconds or even less with simple mods. Why anyone would want to ruin that with suspension "upgrades" like this really does baffle me.

That car would be destroyed in a week where I live. The roads are terrible, it destroyed my suspension inner tie rods and wheel bearings and CV axle. I'm currently driving around with a Steering wheel that has excessive play and it scraps when I'm turning left.
Nah when I was really low dragging frame it was stressful for sure like I would be physically and mentally EXHAUSTED after a drive 😭😭 be taking deep breaths after I get home

As a motorcycle rider I truly hate cars with totally blacked out windows. Bad enough we already have to ride like people can't see us but, when I can't see which way your head is facing it's even worse. And with tint like that you really can't see us. I guess that how people get out of texting or talking on their phones while driving.
you can get that same exact stance with air suspension or hydraulics and in my opinion you can have wayyyyyy more fun being adjustable.... @@bmo4k30 my first car ever was a super slammed S-10, with no air suspension and the frame was literally like an inch off the ground and I pretty much destroyed the bottom of that car and ended up taking the entire frame off the truck and building an entire frame from the firewall back, and then body dropped it on the floor with air suspension so I’m speaking a little bit bit on the knowledge… but I’m with you bro stance Cars are sick looking I’m not taking that away from it … my favorite type of truck, car or anything is slammed on the ground, so I love seeing it

If you got money for tires every tank of gas, perhaps invest in air ride that way the car can be functional while driving without causing the sub frame to fall off and low when parked or driving slow on a smooth surface. IDK. Just my two cents.

Overlowerwd cars are dangerous. Back when i lived in PA, my car was crippled by pieces that flew out from the undercarriage, tearing through my radiator and damaging the engine. Driver was hunted down by police, arrested and their car impounded as evidence. Idk what all they were charged with but were convicted on all charges and got several years innthe county prison.

If you want to do that to a car, get one without an engine, from a wrecker, modify it and put it to your driveway. That way, at least, your don't waste a perfectly good car.
I used to own a G35 and I normally do the work on my cars but this time around my neighbor had jumped the gun and stripped one of my nuts to the strut tower because I was putting on coils long story short; I work like any other person so I had this shop I normally would go to if I had any major issues so these guy threw on my coils and fucked up the height to the car so when I got it bro it was Lower than this shit I couldn’t ever get a jack under it 😂. I had them throw that back on the lift to fix that shit infinity is known for having shitty sway bar links and control arms and when slammed like that I bet he is going through parts like it’s water
