I followed the step-by-step process for the 2022 version, does it make a difference if its this version? Everything seems to be working fine.
2 questions:
Is there any specific reason to chose Ubuntu (64-bit) over Debian (64-bit) or vice versa?
How would one increase the storage space on their virtual disk partition after install? Or is it possible to add another disk to the kali instance?

I have a serious problem. I follow through with this video, it works for a few seconds after rebooting, and then a black screen appears. In the storage settings, the IDE showed as Empty even though I did put it on during the beginning phases. I've been restarting the installation process 5 times already.
my installation got stuck while finishing the installation, it say "running simple-cdd", any suggestions?

Is there a difference between bare metal and virtual machine version for Kali Linux? Since we are going to be in a Virtual Machine anyways, what differences would bare metal have over virtual machine version and what factors would you pick over the other?

When I go into Settings > Network and then I change NAT to Bridged Adapter there is no option to select any bridged adapters.
Any Suggestions ?
Fixed it just uninstall virtualbox don't worry about live machines being lost. Reinstall it but give it administrator access by right clicking it and running it as an administrator when installing it.

Bro while installation of kali on virtually i am getting this error " network autoconfiguration failed (DHCP not probably installed) " I ignored and continued after installation in kali these are missing inet /ip address by doing ifconfig .So can you please help me out how to fix this and get inet /ip address .

Go in your PCs BIOS and enable AMD-V. Its allowing virtualisation on your PC. A quick google research should help you

When I get to the creating new and finish creating it, i just get a notification saying "Cant create Virtual machine in my main folder"
I managed to fix it by just running VM as a admin

Increase your GPU memory for the machine and if still not working then increase RAM

You need to increase either RAM or GPU memory for the machine or both

Use a little more GPU memory for the Machine
Go to settings / display/ Vedio memory /increase the Vedio memory to maximum or half and voila
