My first flight of 2023. Today, because I “enjoyed” Turkey so much last year, I’ve decided to go back to the exact same place, with the exact same airline, TUI, and see, have they improved since 2022? Well, let’s start with the positives, Gatwick, smooth, quick with little to no queues. Dalaman as well was alright until we reached baggage reclaim where there was a lengthy wait for bags. As for the flight itself, not much has changed since 2022 really: Delays, screaming children, people clapping, filthy seats, much like the TUI I remember from last year.

no queues at dalaman? u were so lucky there. we arrived on a full A321neo with 235 passengers and many other flights arrived soon before or after including a jet2 a330 and the queues went to the back wall.
