I myself don't think so. It doesn't feel right for nigh-incomprehensible horrors of the deep. It sounds more like something one might hear in a Forge World from Warhammer or something, something that gives one mental images of great machines being built.
Abyssal is actually Night horror in the deep
Whatever. They come from somewhere deep and dark.
Still sounds like something that gives images of large things being constructed in an almost religious manner.
Just like in Forge Worlds.
