One of my new hobbies that i picked up was hiking but with the weather change I’ve been more into cooking meals from scratch. Being a mom and doing all the mom things limited the time i had for myself so it’s important to carve out special time in the week for yourself

I am a single mom to a 6 and 7 year old and this is very spot on. The first birthday party Including parents made me have anxiety for a week but of course it was a blast and i was glad I went. I also find a good morning and night schedule help a lot with us too.... especially mornings since i also work and have to get ready every morning.

Love this video, I think I've said this many times😅, but I started watching when sydney was a baby and I was a pregnant single mom. Still a single mom now that my son is almost 6. I love how real and relatable you have always been. Thank you for that! I've never been one to go to those mom groups. I thought I would make make friends with the parents at my sons school, and I have made a couple, but they are all married and a bit clicky 🙄 Now I'm in nursing school as a single mom and have had no time for extra socializing 😂

Mainly because, i'm like you lol, introverted but extroverted but like not too much, ya know? 😆Watched you go through all the ups and downs as I was dealing with adjusting to motherhood and also trying to find myself for the first time (that's a tough thing to do at the same time lol). A video I'll never forget was when you shared about your healing/forgiving journey as you became a single parent. I know being a content creator is flexible, but it is not easy, especially being on camera when mentally, it's just a rough season. So thank you! Hey Hailey, I have been a single mom from when my son was 6 until now 15 because my ex-husband and I are back together again. I am so grateful for that because being a single mom is really not an ideal situation. At least for me personally. I have learned that my true passion is food. I'm a foodie like you. I don't think I can ever get bored from anything that has to do with food. I also like to sing and dance as hobbies. Just for myself at the house when I'm alone. It makes me happy and really helps relief stress/anxiety. I did go to "mom-groups" when my son was younger. I really needed and enjoyed that. I would say I'm a social/extroverted introvert. But like you say everybody has to find out what works for them. What makes them happy and fulfillled. Everybody is different. 🙏❤

You got me through some extremely hard times feeling lonely and burnt out being alone with my children over the years. I lost myself as well when i had my baby and when i was married but now as a single mom i got back into running and even got into running 5ks… now working up to a marathon
I really don’t have any hobbies, currently! I have discovered the Libby app, and have been listening to fun audiobooks from the library. I never devoted time to reading, but with audiobooks, I can multitask! 😊

Hobbies are SO helpful as a SAHM of 4! My hobbies are working out, cooking and filming/editing for CZcams! My goal would be to have my channel take off one day. 10:21 I host parties where I invite 2 to 4 of my friends with kids over. We plan an activity for the kids whether it be the park or a movie on the couch, I make us dinner or a board and create a signature cocktail and we hang out while the kids destroy my house. Some of them usually sleep over too. It's so much fun that I decided to write a book on how to do it 😊

If you can afford everything all food and bills and clothes then why not be a CZcamsr but I can’t say it will do much for your sanity being home all the time. Your videos are good and I like watching but we are getting the same videos more or less. Is there not new content like what you make from CZcams and about how you can make a living off it Or how you budget for bills. Single parents might want to know how you do it. Own your own house and have a nice car and can afford still to go to Disney CZcamsrs don’t make that much money and not off only making 2 videos a week. ❤
I completely learned how quickly the hamster wheel becomes exhausting! I struggle a lot with what content to film sometimes and so I am always open to your ideas! I do have fresh content in my plans though within the lifestyle genre. Are you mostly curious how I make my income doing this? There are many revenue streams that most content creators have 😄 not limited to CZcams ad revenue. Happy to hear from you what you’d like to see ❤️
I agree with @mecheldoz2983. I’ve been trying to find these words. Hayley, you mentioned you never really had any hobbies, but is all you really love in life food centered? I noticed your recipes you share are comfort food, not very nutritious. you also said you used to love working out. I know what drew me in was your ability to make singlemomming it look fun. It’s a lonely and hard job and even though I haven’t really taken much from you to add to my life, you made me really see the joy and freedom in being a single mom. Because of you, I love being a single mom. You have that going for you… or you did. I would like to see how you make ends meet. You said we can look to other videos for that, but not all of those people are single moms, if they are they’re not relying solely on the type of job you have, and they have twice as many subscribers. I would like to see who Hayley is. You seem to be selling every brand even if your not for it. You can’t be for every brand you ad for as there are a variety of things you ad for, this video for one didn’t have much to do with the brand that sponsored you. it can hurt your channel and my guess is this is part of the reason it hasn’t grown in a long time. We’re all unique, show us who YOU are, if you want. This is why it’s so important to make mom friends and spend that money out on mom dates, ESPECIALLY as a single mom. You mentioned doing that in the fall, but you live in a tourist town and how expensive it is and how you would rather just go to Disney. Really!? Also, how do you manage financially if it’s expensive where you live. It might be Sydney getting older and not being home anymore, but you seem to have lost your spark. you could always homeschool her, but even if that’s not for you, you are a person outside of being a mom an all things mom related. If we’re not careful, again ESPECIALLY as single moms, we can really lose ourselves. I feel like that’s what’s happened to you when I watch your videos now. You used to come off so happy, again, this is when Sydney was within her first 4 years. I see a difference in your videos of your joy. You’ve changed since she went to school. Show us who Hayley is even if you have to find her on the process. We already know you have to do laundry and dishes, what else do you do besides chores?
Stay at home, work from home, single mom etc lol I kind of choose which label I say interchangeably. But the loads of 1099s I just got definitely solidify that wfh title 😆 I feel like I use sahm more in the videos since I’m not showing you the things I do for work for the most part. Obviously filming is part of it but I don’t show the editing, invoices, emails, creating the content etc. if that word jumble makes sense 😆

You said we can look to other videos for that, but not all of those people are single moms, if they are they’re not relying solely on the type of job you have, and they have twice as many subscribers. I would like to see who Hayley is. You seem to be selling every brand even if your not for it. You can’t be for every brand you ad for as there are a variety of things you ad for, this video for one didn’t have much to do with the brand that sponsored you. it can hurt your channel and my guess is this is part of the reason it hasn’t grown in a long time. We’re all unique, show us who YOU are, if you want. This is why it’s so important to make mom friends and spend that money out on mom dates, ESPECIALLY as a single mom. You mentioned doing that in the fall, but you live in a tourist town and how expensive it is and how you would rather just go to Disney. Really!? Also, how do you manage financially if it’s expensive where you live. It might be Sydney getting older and not being home anymore, but you seem to have lost your spark. you could always homeschool her, but even if that’s not for you, you are a person outside of being a mom an all things mom related. If we’re not careful, again ESPECIALLY as single moms, we can really lose ourselves. I feel like that’s what’s happened to you when I watch your videos now. You used to come off so happy, again, this is when Sydney was within her first 4 years. I see a difference in your videos of your joy. You’ve changed since she went to school. Show us who Hayley is even if you have to find her on the process. We already know you have to do laundry and dishes, what else do you do besides chores?

Oh no I certainly am a work from home mom! I put in more hours than I ever did working a different job. 😄

Stay at home, work from home, single mom etc lol I kind of choose which label I say interchangeably. But the loads of 1099s I just got definitely solidify that wfh title 😆 I feel like I use sahm more in the videos since I’m not showing you the things I do for work for the most part. Obviously filming is part of it but I don’t show the editing, invoices, emails, creating the content etc. if that word jumble makes sense 😆
