LP12 Spotlight - Prevent Bricking from CZI firmware update

The LP12 spotlights have a manufacturer defect that bricks them. Here’s how to update your LP12 spotlight to prevent it from being bricked. If it’s already been bricked the only solution is to return it to CZI for repair.

During a recovery last week I lost control of the spot light and when I went into the LP12 I had lost the light functions (synching, light on/off). We still were able to finish the recovery but I brought the drone back to the home point and rebooted the entire drone system and the functions came back. So far its working again but I guess it needs an update. If I was a little closer to Ohio I would take it to your drone shop, I’m not tech savvy enough to feel comfortable trying this update on my own and screwing up the entire drone

My speaker quit without updating any firmware ......(spotlight works fine) ... proceeds to update everything after, and still doesn't work

Thanks for the alert and instructions. Updated mine and hopefully no bricking. CZI website also has instructions and Download if needed
