I love the fact that Robert Englund signed a Power Glove.
yeah, look at that, beat his high score.
Fun fact they weren't sure If Nintendo would pursue legal action If they used the actual Power Glove In Freddys Dead. They decided to do it regardless and Nintendo never had a problem with it. Freddy even holds it up and says "now I'm playing with power!"
It's so bad

Damn, the $1 collection in front is amazing. Regardless how common the games are. You barely ever see any retro games below $5.
Have a store here in Colorado with 2 dollar Bluerays, xbox one , 360 and psp games
@@pumpkinpie7591 Those games you mentioned are not retro just a bit old now 🤣
If you paused it and zoomed in, the MASSIVE majority of those games were old terrible sports games… literally have to give those damn things away. The store probably bought a bulk collection that had a ton of them
Such an outstanding combination - retro games + travelling around the USA. Love to watch it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@MetalJesusRocks Are you a Seattle Kraken fan? I´m from Brazil and a NHL fanatical, love the jerseys and the videogames, i recommend the NHL Hitz series.
As someone living in UK these videos are such a nice look into all the great places America has to offer, with the added bonus of video games!
Same here. We're lucky to get one good retro game shop in each major city! 😅
Everything looks better from afar. Look up the storm drain tunnels under the strip where the homeless junkies reside, just underneath the ivory towers where the rich gamble millions in high stakes games.

@@DuPz0r sometimes not even 1 in a major city
Retro city games is the best store I’ve been to in years. Glad you checked them out. I think I almost spent 2 hours in there. Shoutout to Antonio and Doug.
Nothing better on a Saturday morning than a cup of coffee and a road trip with Metal Jesus.
I live in Vegas and follow Retro City Games’ page on FB, and saw their $1 sidewalk sale last Thanksgiving weekend. Crazy to think that if I had went at the right time, I could’ve met MJR. Was planning to go last Saturday afternoon.
Great vid as always, fun to see all the local stores I’ve frequented talked about so highly.
Also thanks for the tip on AGP possibly liquidizing next year, may make for some great pick ups.
My jaw was dropped to the floor for the entire duration of the “A Gamers Paradise”. I cannot believe that store, if someone described it to me I wouldn’t have believed them until they showed me a video lol!! Absolutely breathtaking. I cannot believe he’ll piece off the inventory if someone doesn’t purchase the store. Insane. But we in America are headed for tough times and he could be making a wise choice. We won’t have a lot of spare cash for retro games in the coming years…
Retro city games is the coolest store in Vegas. They are less of a professional place and more of a personal place. Which is exactly what I like to see in a game store. The wii play games store is very corporate feeling.
Is it like those garage sale type stores where they just toss stuff into a box might be huge steals might be junk
Love those stores lol.
I absolutely love that store and have built most of my retro collection from that store I have over 2500 games now I stopped there at least three times a month absolutely fabulous collection
Wii play games has an excellent selection though. I was finally able to find a playstation gun con there when I went two weeks ago
wii play games is TRASH
@@handrewmillan4293 I like the Eastside store
A Gamers Paradise is one of my favourite places to go to in Vegas. Sad to hear that the owner might liquidate the store if he’s unable to find a buyer😢 I hope it stays open because that store is freakin’ awesome!!
The MJR channel is simply a win for everyone. He travels makes some extra income and enjoys his life out collecting. We are all watching and learning. And the mom n pop shops are getting exposure they may have never have had without his reach. MJR is nothing short of a legend. Rock on Brother, love from Tampa 🌴🙏🤘🤘
Hey! That's where I live! We do have a surprising amount of retro games here. We also have 2 Zia Records, which I'm actually heading to today! There's also Wii Play Games which I haven't been to in a while. Your room was amazing! Palazzo is a beautiful hotel. Thanks for covering the Pinball Hall of Fame, that's really a gem and we almost lost it when they moved into their new location. They did a fundraiser to complete construction and keep it open, that would have been a huge loss. Another weird thing people don't talk about much is we do have a swap meet called Broad Acres in North Las Vegas, that place is a super fun time!
I meant to hit up a few Zia Record locations, but ran out of time. Next visit for sure.
I didn’t expect to see Booty shaking in a travel Vlog… that a great way to get video retention 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 well done lol. Oh the games are cool too lol
This is such a coincidence I just finished binge-watching your playlist of your game hunting travels living vicariously through them wishing I could travel
Next time in Vegas you may want to check out the valley of fire. I believe it's about 45 minutes outside of the city but absolutely beautiful
The little shuffle at 0:48 is awesome. Haha
I don't play video games, haven't since I was a kid, but love this dude's videos. Seems like a solid dude. More of a punk than metal guy, but cheers to you my man
Thanks man. I'll throw on some NOFX as tribute to ya dude. 👍
@@MetalJesusRocks Haha! Awesome brother! Maybe BOB or some Murder the Government? Although I do get down with Pantera and Slayer! Anyway Thanks for bringing a non gamer into your world! Appreciate it
@@MetalJesusRocks damn Jesus you like NOFX!? Hell yeah
Hey its Milo 👋
It is Milo! Sorry I'm old so that is my jam!
I love your gaming videos, but these travel vlogs you do are truly quality. Better than some of the people that only make travel vlogs honestly. Especially going to cool places I've been to like Vegas or even cooler places I want to eventually visit like Japan! Keep up the good work man!
I always love these traveling video game hunting videos. Hopefully we continue to see more of them. I live vicariously through you in that regard. :D Thanks MJR!
MJR you need to have a show on the travel channel or something! These videos are so good!
Thanks! These are fun videos to make.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... EXCEPT FOR ANY AWESOME GAMES MJR PICKS UP! 🤟🏼
You got that right!
I've been a fan of the retro gaming scene for years, and I subscribe to just about all of the most popular retro games channels, but I still get excited when I see a new Metal Jesus Rocks video has been posted! Here's hoping you're still posting videos well into the 2050s - and beyond!
Love every game hunting + pickup video and I'll never stop commenting on them either, please keep em' coming, Jason! 😀
Love this video. The amount of handhelds was crazy!!! I've never heard of those before. Thanks a lot for this awesome video! 📹 🎥
I live in Vegas and frequent both retro city game stores. I couldn't agree more with your assessment. The first store has the more rare stuff. Both stores are awesome and the owner is really nice.
4:59 YESSS seeing the mighty Mega Duck on your channel is amazing...It was indeed made in Hong Kong and first sold here in the Netherlands and also in Brazil but under the name "Cougar Boy". It released in 1993 and there are only 36 games for it.
I don't know what I'm happier about, metal Jesus doing a retro game shopping video in my city or the fact he pronounced Nevada correctly!
MetalJesus is gonna win... In Sin City! AC/DC reference
Great song
Love your videos! Recently got into speedrunning and I want to do more og stuff like PS1 & PS2. Seeing your hidden gems videos helps me find games that I would never thought of getting or knew existed otherwise!
Always love when I wake up not feeling so great and then boom you upload a video. Keep up the great work.
We need a MJR crew video dammit 😤
Feels like so long since I've been to Vegas but it hasn't been that long in the scheme of things. Enjoyed your video game hunting adventures and just seeing some familiar sights and retro games - some gems in there for sure. Always enjoy your videos - keep 'em coming and keep rockin' dude!
I live in Las Vegas.. Alot of people are moving from L.A. to Vegas.
Love you mjr!! Long time subscriber. Awesome video
I appreciate it!
@@MetalJesusRocks you replied! I feel like I met a celebrity :)
Great video and great finds!!! It's very nice to see some game searching and pick ups for some rare and obscure stuff within the belly of Vegas!!!
Your video tours are always well done. Love them.
I was at that Retro City Games store in the outdoor mall just before the world fell apart. Got some nice games for my collection from there although there was not near as much stuff when I was there.
Welcome to Vegas brother! Hope you had a blast here. Great video. Loved your bit on the PINBALL hall of fame, that place is always a blast.
I used to live out in Vegas back in 2015. The Pinball Hall of Fame used to be in a small building on Tropicana, east of the Las Vegas Blvd strip. I love how the handicapped parking spaces looked like a wheelchair popping a wheelie while on fire. So glad that they moved to such an amazing location where they can truly show their Legendary collection!
Love these videos! Keep up the great work, MJ 🤘🏻
Great job sir! Really enjoy these game hunting trips...keep 'em coming! 🤘✌
Love these travel videos, I like the vlog style in addition to games it’s cool to see you showcase the city and sights where you are at.
The recent vlogs are awesome!
Glad you like them!
These videos are great love seeing the travelling and searching for retro games. I stayed at the Golden Nugget of Fremont back in 2013,had the best time. Like the BTTF reference as well
Watching you have so much fun, it's making me wanna go game hunting in my city. Stay Safe MJR
Vegas is one of my favorite places!
I love Retro City games and Red Rock Canyon is really fun to hike! I got to witness some desert snow there a few years back.
Living vicariously through you with this video.
Loved it!
really cool your doing this MJR, nice way to support the shops, and bring us on an adventure! haha
Love the travel videos! It’s been bringing me back to the channel more and more.
Your travel/hunting videos are my favorites, man!
I'm glad you put my boys Retro City games in the video, great store.
They were a very cool store.
Holy cow, I'd never imagined LV had so many cool retro game stores! Glad you had a good time out there, MJR!
There’s several more retro game stores in Vegas and surrounding area but the ones in the video are by far the best!
Great video MJR!! These types of videos are one my favorites 🤘
Thanks for the ideas! I was thinking recently that the next time I go to Vegas (I live maybe 1 1/2 hours away) I should check out a video game store for the first time- now I know which ones to visit! Great finds. They look fun (and yes, Hellsing is awesome).
I have been a fan of and frequent customer of Retro City Games ever since they originally opened, Doug is a great guy
Is this the Henderson location? I’m in Vegas now on vacation looking for a good store worth the Uber trip
I'm glad you add more than just the games; I appreciate seeing the scenery.
Keep the travel videos coming, man! This is what I need after being cooped up in my house for ~2 years.
That's the plan!
Wish we had stores like this in Australia you are all lucky MJ.
Was waiting for my weekly fix of Metal Jesus thank you once again for your documented time in Vegas very cool!!!!
Some wild stuff that you saw is nuts !!!
LETS GO! New MJR video's always make my day!
Glad to hear it!
These are some really interesting videos, keep them coming!
Glad you like them!
The screen at Fremont Street is called Viva Vision and opened in 1995. It actually went through an upgrade a couple years ago when you were here. Looks way better now. Glad you had fun out here!
Ah ok. Well it's super impressive now!
I totally would watch a travel show hosted by you
Cool to see Vegas! Once again, great to see both game collecting and the different scenery in your videos. Love it!
The videos of your trips are my absolute favorite! That LED ceiling looks NUTS!!
It’s come a long way from when it was first installed back in 1995!
Every update makes it more amazing!
@@MrToadfrog811 Wow! I wonder what it looked like in 95!
@@dhoyft411 I can’t get the link to work, but if you look up “1995-Christmas Grand Opening Special-Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience” you can see most of the first video.
It’s old style now but still impressive for 26 years ago!
@@MrToadfrog811 Awesome! Thanks dude!
Awesome tour and pickups Jason! That Pinball hall of fame looks amazing.
1:38 I work there! Also it's so cool to see you check out Retro City Games, I go there all the time!
You work in the Venetian? Such a cool Casino. Love the indoor canals.
@@MetalJesusRocks Yes! I work for the photo company that does the souvenir pictures for the gondola ride
Keep this up MJR, love that you show scenery and enjoying life besides gaming. Honestly, hope this is a continuing theme for your channel. Better to get outta the game room and do it like this. it's like a band touring the states, hope you can visit all 50 states and game hunt, that would be a nice bucket list item. I think a map in your game room with thumbtacks on each state/city you visited thus far would be awesome. 🤘🏻
Great videos man, always a pleasure to watch these, keep 'em coming dude!
Absolutely love your game hunting videos!
Amazing video again plus thanks for the map!
If you dont have yet, pickup a game called Return of the Obra Dinn. You can call it a adventure mix with puzzle. Short information about the game: The player is dispatched to the ghost ship to perform an appraisal, reconstruct the events of the voyage, and determine the fates of all sixty souls aboard, providing a cause of death for those deceased or a probable current location for those presumed living. Greetings from Sweden //Fredrik
I spent so many hours at the Pinball HoF. I'm so glad it's still open. They really upgraded with that new location!
Blessed to be gifted with some Metal Jesus in Las Vegas
Man it looks like everything that doesnt end up in Seattle area, ends up in Vegas. These stores look AMAZING. Hope it was a great trip.
I really enjoy these videos where you visit stores across America. Being from Scotland we have nothing that compares to this so I thoroughly enjoyed the content, thank you MJR & your wife for filiming...🙏👏🎮
Glad you like them!
we got cex and cashconverters haha... don't forget world of books too
@@doug.mccrae There is that lol 😂
Hi Jason, thanks for sharing these video game hunting trips with us, I really like them. To be honest with you, I'm a bit jealous of the retro gaming scene in the US. Back in Montréal, Canada, it's very difficult to find retro gaming stuff. We have a few stores, pawn shops and flea markets and that about it. My wife think that your wife is very patient during these trips...
I live here in Las Vegas and been collecting for years. I’m glad to see these stores still up and running. Hope to run into you digging here again! Thanks!
Cool video as usual. I guess that's why Retro City Games had a ton of handhelds on sale when I visited 2 weeks ago
Great video, you have really mastered your craft. Very entertaining :)
Hope you had fun here. I live 8 mins from one of the Retro City locations
Las Vegas!! Woooo!! Can't wait to visit Vegas my self on new years, so cool you have family there
Keep rocking brother! Love the vids and information
Glad you like them!
Another great video Jason! Vegas is on my bucket list.
You could totally pass for The Undertaker, bud.
Aww man. You were in my city! I would've suggested a ton of other hidden gems like WiiPlayGames, Game Nest, Zia Records, Charleston Antique Mall (usually hit/miss but you can see everything from creepy dolls from estate sales and the occasional treasure trove of classic games) and others!
Nobody makes videos like you. You do a voice over of you’re trips its brilliant and so nice!
Doug the man, the myth, the legend so sick to see retro city getting some love!
Very cool! I'd like to check out these places the next time I'm in Las Vega.
So cool dude I love Vegas but have never been awesome to see more of it thank you
Gamers paradise has their own video game museum.
Living vicariously through Metal Jesus, I love the travel videos!
Love the classic Bomberman in the window :D
Awesome video. Looks like you had a great trip!
Cool stores in Vegas!
I’ve been to that city many times and I had no idea!
And nice score on the hotel room!
Thanks MJ!
Awesome trip, thanks for sharing
I love these videos man great content you da best METAL JESUS!!!🤟🏼🎸
ha! i remember running into you when you were filming at the pinball museum. completely forgot about it until it hit the pinball section of the video.
I really like that you showed these retro shops some love as a Vegas local I’m always in and out of a lot of these stores :D
Seeing that Aztec Challenge game took me back. I too used to play that on the C64.
Wow those canyons are GORGEOUS
I will be in Las Vegas in January as I'm attending the annual Shot Show convention and I will definitely check the spots you mentioned! They look absolutely amazing!
