About the show:
'Dhe Chef', South India's biggest cooking reality show is aired on Mazhavil Manorama friday to sunday at 8 pm. The show tests the culinary skills of the selected contestants through the series to eventually find the 'Dhe Chef of the Year'. The format of the show, set in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition
Actor Dileep, who has mastered the nuances of delicious food, launched the show. 'Dhe Chef' is hosted by actress - anchor Jewel Mary along with renowned RJ Mathukutty. The judging panel consists of 3 professional Chefs - Chef Anjali Ramaswamy, Chef P V Pradeep and Chef Amrit Jose Appadan.
The show follows a dynamic pattern, with a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots. It has all the major factors of reality shows like twists, pressure tasks, time restrictions, mysteries, wild card entries, elimination rounds, safe zones and of course, presence of celebrity guests. Participants are also tested on group and individual rounds. What awaits the title winner are prizes worth 50 lakhs. The runners up will also be awarded exciting prizes.
20 contestants are selected from 40 short-listed participants who will compete with each other to win the title of 'Dhe Chef'. Brace yourself and get ready to witness some foodelicious episodes.

He is not rude . You won't know under what circumstances you have to work for and for what kind of chefs. So this will give them a better exposure in being tough and perfect

Lijo is doing really well and I knew the chef was lying at the start... then he surprised Lijo by congratulating him. I would love Lijo to win the title because he kind of deserves it more than the others as he has gone through many struggles in life. Good luck Lijo in your future endeavours :) I don't think the chef is bad because if you go to a restaurant this is what normally happens. The senior chefs will be harsh to the junior ones as they need perfection, flavour and texture. I've watched Gordon Ramsey's video and he even swears if the dishes go wrong. In a way you learn from your mistakes so it's the chefs job to make them aware of it so that they can improve next time. I love this show and I can't believe it already has been 7 months!! Can't wait for the Grand Finale 😀

Now only I watched this episode, also I noticed lot of negative comments against Chef Damu...
I don't think he done wrongly, It's all about stress management, chef Job is one of the most skilled job in the world.thats why they paid more. Then some of them mentioning that, he is not tasting and only smelling...Its all experience...dont think in very narrow mind, Chefs working in big corporate Hotel chains, so they should keep this strict..
