- So this is one of the downsides of owning a pet but we are here to look after them when they are unwell too! It's not all bright and cheery! Poor Phil....
45 mins it took to clean that up, disinfect it, vinegar, baking soda you name it. It was double the day before on the rugs and couch! Still, it's vary rare something like this happens Phil is 99% of the time brilliant and even wakes us up in the night pawing you if he needs the toilet! I'm not sure why he was unwell, the other two were fine and they hadn't eaten anything different, just one of those things!
That’s not vomit 🤮 it came out of the other end 💩 Just FYI for all of you thinking he’s thrown up….

Coming from someone who has been there, I'd say he is embarrassed more than anything. Also, sad that he's done something he knows you don't like. They want to please you all the time. So, when they mess up--even by accident--they feel like they've let you down. Stay well, Philly Bear!!!!!!!!

Milo is such an adorable younger brother checking up on Phil to make sure he is doing well. I always knew the two of them were so good with each other. Pets know when someone in their family is not well. I really hope Phil is doing much better. Sending my get well wishes to you big bear. Hugs all the way.😀❤️
My cat does this when I’m ill or in pain. She seldom touches me unless it’s to receive a petting or scent mark me, but when I’m unwell she’s always very close by watching me. Normally she’ll sleep or clean herself in her usual favourite spots around the home instead of watch over me so closely.
Of course when she’s unwell I relocate the food, water and clean litter tray close to her chosen spot so it’s all easier for her. Lots of reassuring love when I have to medicate her. Lucky she’s a docile old girl and takes her meds well.
He is a great kitty. I loved seeing him climb up next to Phil on the bath tub sill with a concerned look on his face as Phil was soaked looking at the camera with such sadness. Milo's in tune with his big bro.

I can’t believe he didn’t lose his appetite, but that’s a good thing. He looked much better a few days later. Get well, Phil!

Poor Philly. My dog was sick for about 2 weeks off and on with diarrhea. Thank goodness she is little. Only 7 pounds. But getting that medication in her was a trial. She is better now Thank God. She is 17 years old. She wouldn't eat chicken and rice. She was existing on chicken baby food and Greek yogurt. I hope Phil gets better. He is such a sweet dog.
Maybe feed Phil from a bowl stand so his swallowing is more natural. That little bit of difference may make all the stomach problems ease away.
Wonder if that would help my dog 🐕 ?

I really felt for you and know how worried you get when any of your dogs get ill. However, probably like most of us, you know you’re going to be ok if you are still eating your food , and we all know PHIL LOVES HIS FOOD! Lol! It's wonderful that you reacted with such compassion. They(our furry loved ones) would not normally do anything like that unless they couldn't hold it. And should NEVER be scolded for doing so. When our dog had an accident we could tell that he felt embarrassed and knew it was wrong. But we told him we loved him and just cleaned it up. Just like a baby! Only furry! Glad Phill is feeling better! Good going Mom and Dad!

Poor Phil!!! At least you got him to the vet's when you did, so hopefully this was a one-time thing. Also, if the carpet doesn't look (or smell) like it normally should by now, it wouldn't hurt to call the professionals & have them give it a good once-over.
Poor Phil, it’s so difficult when your babies get sick. When my Mistie was hospitalized and misdiagnosed I thought I was going to die.😿 Luckily we were able to take him to another vet and was told that he will be fine $3,000 later. Get well Phil, you’re one sweet malamute ❤️
