A New Prismatic Hunter Build That SLAYS Grandmasters! [Destiny 2 Hunter Build]
The best way I can describe this Build is basically the Gyrfalcons playstyle, but instead of taking advantage of the volatile debuff, were taking advantage of the Jolt debuff instead for the invisibility playstyle but then adding so much more to the overall build and this allows you to stack so much damage resistance, so when your going in and out of invis or dealing with a overload champion where you need continuous fire and your out of invis, you have enough damage resistance even in grandmaster level content and even solo at that, so it gets even better with a team as you'll see in the gameplay later on.
Your going to throwing out Supers left and right, while popping Transcendent over and over and just sit back and watch the jolt fireworks happen!
It's also a very fun playstyle in my opinion and it makes the Hunter feel quick unique with the Ascension Aspect and how we can take advantage of it even in the most difficult content. When you have something that
is really fun to play, yet very strong and can be played anywhere in the game, that's when you know you have a build worthy of taking up one of those 12 Build slots on your Hunter!

While I understand that following step by step instructions helps, I recommend you literally try mixing different abilities yourself to see what comes out, especially the abilities you like using. It's the whole point of Prismatic, to try to come up with combinations that are unique because of you.
It's not easy to come up with builds on the fly, but it gets much easier once you actually understand how certain fragments and armor mods interact together, and you can't see it by just Watching a video

Fallout has a nice prismatic hunter build that focuses on getting maximum damage with your Celstial.
I watch a lot of different videos just to get a larger pool of info, and it takes a good set of videos to get me to follow someone. You definitely have the kind of content that is actually worth watching. Great explanation and not at all a carbon copy of the other builds. Love it!!
I was able to carry my friends in GM with this build it’s an overload champ monster especially in the final room when 500 overload champs & Wyrvens are diving you. Professor plunder does it again. Well done sir

I was trying this build out earlier today, but it wasn’t feeling that smooth. Were you using Indebted Kindness?
@@davidchurch5598 yes I used Indebted Kindness. It’s good on redbar & shanks. If you have volt shot it stuns overloads, clears rooms plus invisibility

@@bryansanchez64You can also use the new Sightline Survey hand cannon from executable breach. It’s craftable with Voltshot. It was my go to before I unlocked an indebted this morning.

Don't forget to use to artifact mod that overcharges your indebted kindness via sundering origin trait too.

Been using a very similar build since I got bored of Nighthawk and Still Hunt, and now I can't take it off. I feel like you could definitely switch Ruin out for a few things, I like running with Facet of Hope for a crazy fast dodge recharge. Khovostov pairs great with this build too, it makes so many orbs for your Frost Armor uptime and the rebounding bullets paired with Jolted enemies can quickly clear rooms.
This is awesome, I was just trying to figure out how to use ascension on prismatic. It’s so fun on a pure arc build but I like the defensive capability that you can get with prismatic
Iv been running around with gifted conviction and its an absolute blast! That DR is nuts..its even more nuts on arc hunter
I tried Arc Hunter and it's good! But I like it on Prismatic even more, just more options like stylish and transcendent just makes things easy in GMs haha

Glad ascension is getting more coverage, it’s so much fun to use. Have been running almost an identical build since getting gifted conviction and it’s a riot. Throw on grapple/storms edge for easier content and you’re in for a good time
Nice. I just gained the ability to use the Caliban/Cyrtarachne nuke tank build but i might have to give this one a shot for GMs tonight.
Oh man that one is great too! I haven't tried it yet but I don't think the threaded spike will one shot, so might need to weaken something a bit first.
@@Plunderthabooty yeah, I wouldn't expect it to. Maybe with Spirit of Synthoceps or something, but that would just be a different build entirely

If you’re returning to the game and/or a peasant who doesn’t have Indebted Kindness (like me!)… bust out that Phyllotactic Spiral, Keep Away/Voltshot, and prioritize reload speed on everything else.
How about if you're a double peasant who doesn't have indebted kindness OR a suitable Phyllotactic Spiral and only 3/5 progress towards pattern unlock for it? :(

@@scottydogg278 All 3 bosses in Warlord's drop indebted, so it's the easiest one to get a voltshot on. Typically just farm the first boss for it.

I have two versions of this. One that is pretty much the one you showed for slightly harder content, and one that uses both Gamble and Ascension for easier content.
Enemies afar? Throw the nuke.
Enemies close? Become the nuke.
what arc weapon should i use if i cant ger indebted kindness
Yo Plunder, a switch up play style on this build for GM is to lean into weaken/invis. Eg smoke bomb + omnioculous (extra smoke bomb & 50% DR while invis, plus the Artifact void overshield, extra damage from void sources). Can still proc galvanic armor from ascension. Probably not as good as the DR uptime from Gifted Conviction
This is pretty close to what ive been running as soon as i completed the campaign and got the exotic
Great video Plunder! I had a similar build with Renewals + Crytarachne on the cloak, how would that fare in comparison to this one?
It's posible switch exotic chest for exotic Hunter class item (back) with any perk? I like that build so so much
Don’t have exotic chest yet but have been using a build with ascension and spirit of the coyote and spirit of Inmost light for constant up keep on abilities gonna try this version with the cloak.
I have been using The Dragon's Shadow and it works super well with this build, allows you to be pretty aggressive with the instant reload of everything and increased mobility from wraithmetal mail

I like facet of hope better than ruin. If you use ascension it gives amplified which procs hope. If recharges it by the time amplified runs out.
I honestly thought this was a dumb chest piece when they showed it a bit before launch and was like “I’ll never use that”…. Boy was I wrong and humbled real quick after using it and absolutely loving it. It’s the play style I enjoy but now all electric instead of purple explosions 😍
Arc is also very viable if you feel your not getting enough out of ascension cause the aspect flow state gives you like a 200% dodge recharge rate when amplified and it lets you infinitely loop ascension and amplified
Definitely prefer this on arc been running this with flow state really puts this over the edge
Just made a similar build with lucky pants/wardens law and the facet of grace fragment and dragons breath for heavy
Shoutout for recommending Facet of Solitude. Even though we have 100 different ways to go invis with these builds Solitude stands out because you can proc in from long distance without getting a kill first and it's a good way to start your chain of back to back invis in harder content like GMs
Been farming GMs on titan since warlock rep is bugged, thought I’d swap over to hunter. Told myself, “none of my builds are GM worthy, let’s see what Plunder has” and immediately see this upon opening CZcams. It’s a sign

i use this with an ergo sum with arc conductor and it clears everything instantly, not to mention the huge damage increase and ammo refund when transcendent. Also its probably a bug but using ascension with a sword out will give it sword perk benefits such as argent blade and sword ammo refund on the artifact and even some exotic intrinsic perks on the ergo sum like insectoid robots from colony on kill.
If only my RNG was good enough lol 35 swords in and no Arc Conductor :(

Ooh! Here I was thinking - I love this... but it's another build for the voltshot rocket sidearm I can't get to drop. Yet yesterday I got my first arc conductor sword (not a great weapon type, but not nothing!) so will definitely give this combo a try to keep jolt up and running.
does it matter which frame ?
@@d00mscss96 It doesn't to my knowledge, but I would rather have a caster frame, e.g., than the light frame I got to drop. Personal preference as much as anything else.
Do you do twitch? Any streaming coming up for GMs or anything?
I play a lot with something very similar but with ergo sum arc conductor.
Ascension is cool but not very strong because it's close to melee and it doesn't proc many things related to dodge (like powerful attraction) removing so many synergy with prismatic itself (can't use winter's shroud or threaded specter). It does work with utility quickstart tho which allow you to spam it. Also when using it you're so high in space that is takes forever to go down and you're somewhat vulnerable. It's fine until it's not and you die miserably.
I'd still recommend trying it (especially with arc conductor) but my guess is that as soon as galvanic armor is gone, the build is doomed in harder content.
If Bungie ever consider buffing amplified by including galvanic armor inside (which would be deserved seeing how bad amplified is compared to other elements verbs, weapon handling yeay!) and if they fix ascension synergies, then it may become one of the most fun meta builds.
PS : side note on ascension, I found that it works with spirit of the dragon somehow. Now you've the info even if it's quite useless :)

I had more success on arc with gifted, just more benefits for jolting on arc imo. Tried it on prismatic first and its good but i like leaninh into max jolt as well to always keep up resist 4

Can someone explain to me how the gm in foreteam finder works? When i search the GMs none of the say glasswat. How do i find someone doing that one?
Is the build as effective if I use a voltshot pulse rifle like Phyllotactic spiral? Cannot get the SMG..
I actually have this roll in my vault, maybe I get it out and try it just for you 😂 I tried a tanky hunter build and it was cool, but the extra damage resistance didn't help me THAT much, it was noticeable, but I opted to look into other rolls. I personally don't want a melee build either. It's just not viable for a defensive/support type of player. Unless it's threaded spike, which is nice for the sever. but I've been looking at different options, this definitely helps because I didn't really think anything of this roll, I've been looking for a galanor/liars... That way I get half my super back with tether and then my threaded spike may just kill all the red bars it hits... Idk, but maybe I go inmost with liars 🤔 just have to get the rolls and test.
i have a question for you, can you make your best Warlock built with prismatic? one that can surpass every built you have created so far
i think is gonna be tuff, maybe imposible but i would love to see you make a Warlock built soooo powerful that it makes it look broken, like the one you made with titan that can one shoot pretty much anything

I have the arc sidearm but not with volt shot on it . I think the premise is to run a pulse and a side arm. I have been using Phyllotactic Spiral pulse with voltshot and the calling which seems to work

Indebted kindness won’t stun wyverns that’s where you should have warlock on xenophage. And the wyvern of you choose to spawn more of them are a two hit kill if you land the shots on the turrets on the wyverns. So one shot to a turret on the wyvern that will expose the wyverns hidden tucked away crit and boom they’re dead next shot. Works very well when titan cast subtitle shield block, barrier champions will melt instantly when the warlock is using restoration. Now your warlock won’t want to run xenophage because of outbreak but trust me Elsie’s rifle with dewing rounds enhanced dose the trick with less damage not a big deal.

Love hunter builds like this, sure punching builds are dope but I hate how close you have to get to enemies in harder content it doesn’t help being right next to enemies who can potentially Jack you up with either one punch or a couple shots

@@Plunderthabooty yea survivability is kinda rough considering how ballsy of a playstyle it is (stylish executioner helps) but honestly it’s more about knowing when to use it as opposed to spamming it and becoming a helicopter lol
Yesterday I was kicking ass in legend dares of eternity just flying around the brig bosses with my machine gun like an AC-130. Pretty interesting how flying around the enemies disrupts their pathing and aim

Maybe I'm missing something but how are you breaking barriers on Barrier champions with what looks like Thunderlord when it already has anti Overload built in?
He's swapping to a Smg which is also anti barrier this season, it's the Vow of the disciple one. The sight looks similar to thunderlords one tho tbf.
Unless they have fixed it, ascension isn’t working with powerful attraction.

How did you manage to get the LFG GM group together when the LFG GM list is last seasons? Bungie have acknowledged this, there is no Glassway option in the Vanguard - GM LFG.
Destiny 2 LFG Discord, has like 2 million people in it or something crazy like that haha just post your join code in the nightfall section
Doesnt matter what its listed as, just join one. There is only one GM available anyways. As long as you join a GM group they will start up Glassway as its the only option anyways. Same for if you're making a post, just put it as any GM and people will join you assuming its for glassway
