We do mainly present the shorts, but if they get enough attention from the audience we can work with the filmmakers to make a web series or feature film or TV show.
Ok years later I’m watching this again and years later I’m saying it again---WE NEED THIS TO BE A FEATURE FULL LENGTH FILM. BECAUSE ITS REALLY REALLY GOOD

Quick Review and My Opinion! Positives: - Great atmosphere and ascetic feel to the filmography. Felt like the dystopian world they were trying to capture. - Acting was above par. - Story/plot was simple, yet effective. It left me wanting to see more. - 6 min reel felt like a 15 min reel. I was gripped. They managed to fit a lot of content into a small space and that's cleverly done, superb job. - Props/Dress/Scenery were well designed and made the short movie feel more luxurious in budget. Improvements: - Introduction montage was well made, however some scenes were skipped pretty hastily - would've liked to have seen more of the farming elephants. - Acting was above par, but there were moments I felt like the script/dialogue could've been improved. Overall: Very good effort and a piece of work to be proud of! Left me wanting more and story was simple, yet effective, where I questioned certain aspects enough to keep me curious. Such as the farming elephants or why the main protagonist and her brother were laying in a charred circle. Minor details that gave a deeper, perhaps curious feel, wondering whether there was more to be told to this story than just a virus-ridden-apocalyptic-world. Well done to everyone involved, I'd love to see more!
God this was like having one bite of a big mac and just throwing it away. Please creators make a full length film in this setting as it was really quite engaging.
Ah man, WTF?!? How bout a freakin sequel? Like, how it started, before the flashback or whatever... Totally grabbed my attention, it was very interesting & really good story all around, and great quality. And now I want to see more. Really hope it gets picked up for a series or a movie even.
The music during the slow motion scene was so jarring and out of place. Also it felt more like a trailer than a real short film. Ending on a cliffhanger for a single episode story is also a horrible idea.
skabbymuff111 “those that pay him”? You haven’t figured out that it is you who pays them? We pay the greedy to rule us. We pay the cops to harass & shoot @ us. 🙈🙉🙊
Netflix really needs to collaborate with Dust.... They would totally make millions.... Not to mention triple, quadruple their audience. Do it Netflix... Please..!!!! It's a no brainer really.
Can you please put English subtitles on this? I couldn't make out dialogues in some parts. Also is there going to be a part 2? Cos this was quite good. Good production, direction, acting and everything. But please put the subtitles on this.🙏
Great googly moogly i was just gettin started and pow now i know how my wife feels sometimes and im gonna be better in the future why even make a great beginning get me ready then pffft and its over ....really?!? Wish they had some kinda label like "caution may be very unsatisfying not habit forming in any way"
"Our world isn't the same as our parents"..... Now when has it ever been that way we evolve and change the scape of things every day every moment is different hen the last. Still a pretty good short well done and the cast was very good

Thank you for the reply and letting me know, would be nice to see a series of "Number 13", I hope the short gets lots of attention. :-)
Please do, it seems really promising. I just posted about it as well, hope to get people to the video. #Kudos
I was gonna say. I was getting into this and boom, the end. First thought was I need this to be a feature film!
I wonder if the virus came from the thawing glacier ice?
0:35 Hold on a second, you can't just skip over the farm elephants.
Ha! That's what I was thinking exactly. That was way too unique to only have a 1.5 second part.
s'wat makes the greats. ruthless editting.
@Wynter oxygen isn't that needed for plants. did you mean carbon dioxide aka CO2?
Ok years later I’m watching this again and years later I’m saying it again---WE NEED THIS TO BE A FEATURE FULL LENGTH FILM. BECAUSE ITS REALLY REALLY GOOD
GOT fans: HODOR!!
Regular people: What's a hodor??
needs a part 2!
needs biopunk in it
Many of these should be made into movies, but this one in particular would be an interesting expanded universe
I coulden't agree more!
so when does the second get released?
3:49 somthign about a guy in the post apocalypse wearing a normal suit is supremely unsettling
Ward Nightstone that's like some Agent Smith Matrix level weird. I didn't even notice at first
Ward Nightstone
Something distubing in a post-apocalypse world, is that everyone will be in costumes.

Nah, he's a time cop just doin' the rounds.

Phillip DeFranco's Secret Link of The Day anyone? :D
yup
yuppers
same here. this was beautiful.

yurp
3:11 HOLD THE DOOR!
Not even kidding here, I would pay double of standard ticket prices to see a feature-length film made out of this story.
The filmmakers are working on getting the funding to make a longer version. Let's hope they can make it happen.
@@watchdust get them to cloud fund it. I would give them some money to see the rest of the story
Hodor got a job
Don't let Bob hold the door... just saying.
these DUST things are always an exquisite tease but now you're getting downright mean.
It's good, but not really a short film. More of a prelude for a film. That being asid, it does it's job as in I'mvery interested in the story now.
Yes it needs a part 2!
well acted, good props and scene setting, and excellent cinematography and framing. Nice job.
Needs a part 2, I want to see more of this world and characters (:
needs biopunk in it
Please add more to this story! It's so good but too short :(
Absolutely fine effect in the explosion .the coin tied to the story line was awesome fine fine stuff
God this was like having one bite of a big mac and just throwing it away. Please creators make a full length film in this setting as it was really quite engaging.

As its set in England, it is only fitting they use a genre of music created there - Trip-Hop ;)
Since this is a concept idea for a feature film, I’m all in!! PS hi DeFranco fam!!
I remember auditioning for this back when I was 16
I wouldn't mind seeing more of this, definitely
Hodor became Hobom
hol up , hold the phones , wtfffff , this depicts a world in 2054 30 years after a virus devastates the world , holy shit they got the dates right
Second Short i wish is only a commercial of full length Film and much more then the Other, would be worth to go in a Cinema, not only on Video
Man this SO needs to be made into a feature length film!!!
Why does every dust short end right when it starts to get interesting?
HOLD THE DOOR!!
Ah, the ol' wiping out of humanity by the virus scenereo.
If you consider "power hungry politicians" a virus then you might be right.
Kim Jong gonna do it
might just happen matey
Top answer. id say they would be responsible aslo, or those that pay them...
skabbymuff111 “those that pay him”? You haven’t figured out that it is you who pays them? We pay the greedy to rule us. We pay the cops to harass & shoot @ us. 🙈🙉🙊
now we just need the BIO part?
At :35, I wondered "Are those ELEPHANTS??" Had to rewind the next 10 or so seconds, cuz I was marveling at the elephants, lol.
Netflix really needs to collaborate with Dust.... They would totally make millions.... Not to mention triple, quadruple their audience.
Do it Netflix... Please..!!!!
It's a no brainer really.
That was cool!
Good but too short. This is a note to myself. I repeat watching some Dust films, and this is the only way to keep track.
Nicely done but the certainly needs to be a follow-up or continuation of it.
That's how I imagine eBay would look like in real life.
Would love to see this made into a full movie or series. I wan tot see more of this.
Hodor!
The little boy goes to my school lol
Did anyone else get an advert for a "Game of Thrones"? I think it's because the Hodor actor is in this!
Ok DUST, when does the full length come out or is there a link to see the rest? Great premise for a movie. I was hooked from the start.
Time will tell - hope this story gets a chance to continue
Yes, time will tell. LOL, that would make a good title for a short.
LOL... those missing posters... they HAVE to be the crew : ) Loving pipe guy in the biggles goggles ; )
The kid is Benjamin tuttlebee he’s my friend at my school
Airsoft speedloader as a detonator. Clever prop creation
Just wanna cry so hard not being able to see the rest of the film huennnnn
Well that was an abrupt ending.
Gosh- the abrupt ending is rough! lol
LOL Hodor!
❤HODOR🚪
Subscribed. This is freaking amazing so far
Welcome to DUST.
Can you please put English subtitles on this? I couldn't make out dialogues in some parts. Also is there going to be a part 2? Cos this was quite good. Good production, direction, acting and everything. But please put the subtitles on this.🙏
That was awesome!!!!! more more
Is it me or this guy really really REALLY looks like hodor....?
More please!
If it is set in 2054 then it is 34 years after the virus, not 30 :(
Cheers from Italy
An all white London? Also we could use subtitles because of the heavy accents.
yes! finally gene cleansing has rid the future of pesky racial diversity. a dream come true!
Captioning has been available on this one since it was uploaded.
"Some thirty years after", "2054", wait what
LOL the detonator is a BB Loader lol
I want more..... make a movie please!!!!!
I know he was talking, but all I could hear was "Hodor".
Great googly moogly i was just gettin started and pow now i know how my wife feels sometimes and im gonna be better in the future why even make a great beginning get me ready then pffft and its over ....really?!? Wish they had some kinda label like "caution may be very unsatisfying not habit forming in any way"
We need more of this.
Show us more!
I need more!
That was good, it definitely needs a follow up
Damn!! Hook is in and....... GAH!!!!!
Mini Black Mirror
And even in 2054, he will still HOLD THE DOOR!
A splendid work of art.
"Our world isn't the same as our parents"..... Now when has it ever been that way we evolve and change the scape of things every day every moment is different hen the last. Still a pretty good short well done and the cast was very good
Where here Biopunk?
Just Hold the Door!!
Someone give these folks a feature film deal
Great work but it just got interesting. Were is the rest?
OMG I WANT THIS AS A WHOLE THING! NOW... SOMEONE CALL NETFLIX
Waiting.... need to know what happens to the boy.
Was that ? "Hold the door"???
What virus covid 90 ??
Well that sure didn't have a happy ending.
Good one makes you want more
WOW...(!!!!) ...Got my attention !!! How can this NOT continue..???!! 😈
Hodor 🤟
Excellent
Looks good but its a preview in search of a story. Do come back when that is figured out.
WHY?! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL HODOR AGAIN?!
Why the fuck does Hodor always have to sacrifice himself.
I rather enjoyed this. Is there a continuation.
why all the sci-fi movies nowadays are always about post-apocalyptic world and shit like that.
Where the heck is the sequel?
I'm starting to think Kristian Nairn is destined to always play roles where he has to refer to himself in the third person.
Called "Biopunk".
Has nothing to do with it.
that we know of so far.
Great short!
good trailer, show me the film!
please make a movie on "the bartender paradox". it would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is rude.
We have characters all dressed up and no place to go.
I need closure.
