Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is a free-to-play role-playing video game developed and published by Wright Flyer Studios. The game features the collaboration of writer Masato Kato and music composer Yasunori Mitsuda who both worked on Xenogears and the Chrono series of role-playing games. Here's one of my favourite, fastest ways to farm treatises, codices, tomes and opuses in Another Eden. These help sidegrade/upgrade/unlock 5* units, such as Lele AS.

Also yes, Enemy encounter ores or badges are an absolute must for QoL when running dungeons.
Some dungeons you want to runn through quickly just to hit chests for possible chants and/or just get end of dungeon rewards. Encounter down is fantastic here, and also in the overworld for the same reason.
And some dungeons if you use encounter up ores/badges, you'll be able to quickly cycle through all five encounters in each level of the dungeon, speeding up your run times significantly. These are especially useful when farming weapon materials in dungeons or overworld areas... Also in Symphony/Apocrypha/Episode dungeons when aiming for sparkle rewards from the lists.
These are the MOST important ores/badges in the game if you value efficiency in farming or key runs.
Good point about encounter up! I didn't think about that. Also about the symphony/special dungeons - sometimes AE does promos where the rewards are doubled/multiplied!
Lots of good info/tips condensed into a very helpful video especially for newer players. Don't neglect your light/shadow points people, the dungeon reward requirements are only going to get higher in the future so you'll want a unit or two with 255 to throw in the back row so you can use your best units up front without worrying about mix matching units to meet the required points.

This was really useful actually, would be useful if you could make a video detailing out which AD’s where the most useful to run - in terms of getting tomes and covering the characters with the most VC’s

I personally just go with the ad where I need lights/shadows for currently that is clarte after I finished aldo's light I only encounter one mob the whole run which is pretty much the same as aldo's ad where I only fought one elite mob on the way and for greens I go to UD or Future Garulea cause when I don't have much time I can skip getting the currency there and just go straight to the boss
Wow, fast video on fast farming. I haven't been able to use my keys for a while because of time issues so this is very welcome, seems doable and I need all those rewards. Ty!
btw, I know the community advises against buying the 5star materials from the weekly shop for free characters like Aldo, but I am "new" and need to farm everything without having too much time. Snake liver doesn't seem to have good rewards aside from the aldo upgrade material. So do you think that in this case it's ok to buy them from the emporium?

I personally prefer Toto Theater World it depends a bit on what mission you get but I can usually clear it in about 30-60 seconds of course if you wanna clear the whole map it can take closer to 5-10 mins depending on your luck. The clear time is dependent on you unlocking everything. It allows you to get light/shadow point for every free character in the game the odds are supossedly 25% compared to 20% in most other dungeons and there is also a small chance to get 2 or even 3 points at a time so if your looking to farm light/shadow it's clearly the best map to farm it on.
The downside but also an upside is the fact that the toto world doesn't give any tomes but it gives I believe every opuses, codices and treatises there is also the added fact that you can get some very good badges you will also on average get more murmur and prayer books I believe, the horrors are also fairly easy especially if you get the upgrade to make them weaker and they give a ton of xp in the forest map or a ton of git in the factory stage. Don't have time to check the game right now but I believe you get 220 000 xp as a base reward per kill on the git size I think it's 75 000 per kill.
Yep, I enjoy Toto too but you are right about completion times - it can be random depending on your mission. And the completion rewards, at least for me, tend to mainly be badges. But I love the light/shadow rates, which I’ve made a video on some time ago. Who are you trying to get points for in Toto at the moment?

I dunno why i ran 20 times toto and get only 2 lights, do it bugged or something ? Used 50 red keys, it's about 8-10 times to get 1 light.... Toto sucks, exept codices
^ this - I prefer farming light/shadow in TT as well. After you finish both stages stories and get all upgrades and start amassing medals you can even reroll the most annoying missions (like find 3 of anything or undamaged hologram), so most of my runs tend to take below 1 min and the shortest ones are 1 chest or 1 medal - just go SW or NE for a chest and "you too can finish an AD in 18 seconds", or SW for medal and it's around 20s. :P Also - I like that I don't have to hunt for chests to get chants - you just see at the start if one of the vending machines has a white cap - then you "just" have to find the "pass", which can take a minute or three if you're unlucky with chest placement... ofc no tomes is a drawback, but for pure light/shadow, TT for me all day every day. :P

I didn't know certain Codex's Treatise where tied to dungeons no wonder I get 3 rather quickly

I bounce around a little with red keys.
I used to really focus on raising Aldo's light. But man after a year/year and a half of nothing but Aldo's dungeon (and I do mean literally only his dungeon) and only getting him to 35 light, I just couldn't do it anymore. I bounced around a bit after that trying to get my story characters at least up to 10-15 each, but lost heart completely on using red keys to farm light/shadow anymore.
These days I make sure to use my red keys to farm mostly for weapons and armor, and if I happen to get a random point then that's good too. But I'm at a minimum getting mats for weapons and armor. That way I'm not disappointed because I'm specifically shooting for points, and they don't come.
I mostly run dungeons like Clarte's for this reason. I still use Moon Realm gear on all my top units, switch out occasionally if needed, buts that's basically what my entire roster is equipped with, lv10 Moon Realm gear.
I occasionally use reds for Episode/Symphony/Apocrypha dungeons obviously. But I guess the Lunar is my go to for reds.
I should probably start focusing on some dungeons that drop specific tomes for some of my more powerful units. Especially those that I've chosen to invest light/shadow points into.
There's several characters NS forms I don't have VC grasta for. But I have lots of VC/true VC grasta from treatsies. I've never really specifically farmed for tomes for grasta... Always just kind of let that happen on its own. 😄
What does Moon Realm gear do? You have much luck with Toto's Theatre World for Aldo's light points?

Moon Realm armors give +40-50 mp and status resistance +50%. The weapons give a significant speed boost and apply a debuff on the enemies when hit that gives thunder, crystal, or shade type resist down... It's random about which moonlight elements debuff gets applied, but you can apply multiple stacks of debuff for each element... and each character with these weapons equipped can apply them. So a party with Eva, Iphi, Alma, Orleya, etc. as a DPS will benefit greatly if they themselves, or the other characters, use these weapons to apply debuffs.
Aside from the boost to MP and stat resist from armor, and the speed and powerful debuffing capabilities of the weapons... Those weapons also have some very decent stats on BOTH the weapon damage AND the elemental damage side. Similar to prismatic weapons... High numbers on both sides, not just the one. 💪
Still my favorite weapons/armor, even 2 years after the release of Western Mythos. There are obviously more powerful sets, but most of those you can only get one of each. (Prismatic/Void/etc.) As far as a great set that fits any and every character well, these are what I like the most.

And nawwww, I haven't seen any difference in Toto Theater. I just don't have luck at all with obtaining points from red keys. I can go a month or two and get one or two points sometimes.
It's just something I've accepted and kind of moved past a long time ago. 😄
That's why I choose to use red keys in areas I can farm weapon materials or tomes. That way I at least get something worthwhile for my grind... And I will occasionally get the odd point or two, but I at least get the weapons for sure ya know.
Amy's was the red key for me bc it's was shortest imo and future ad for Cerrin.
Also Tsubame AS makes everything quicker as well

For mindless grinding, AS Tsubame is hands down my favorite character in the game. 💪
What would be the absolute quickest way to farm for Dragon Bearer Psalms (For Aldo)?
Sorry I deleted my first reply as I completely misread your question. Quickest way would be to buy them from Nopeaaw emporium. The second way is to get them randomly by finishing snake liver or underworld dungeons
If only there was such a place for chant scripts.
You can buy them from nopaew but at a price!
Currently farming Riftbreaker AD for Eva's and Minalca's VC Grasta.
Then I may return to Man-Eating March for Alma and Iphi.
Plus, Mistrare's Isaiah Tomes have become a reliable source of Special Fragments for me because I farmed Clarte's Shadow first, gaining most of the "West" VC Grasta.
Good points! I was very lucky with Man Eating and Riftbreaker as they helped me get the tomes needed to upgrade my Minalca and Iphi to 5 stars.

I'm still not done with Gariyu or Azami, and a few more Ores from Future Garulea AD and Underworld AD would help out.
But I also heard that the Otherlands Weapons have become easier to get.
@@dansattah not sure if it was you who recommended this on facebook, but Omegapolis has some pretty good rewards and is green key. What are your thoughts on it?
@@aeadventures Yes, I find Omegapolis AD very useful for Grasta because it provides the most Special Fragments across multiple runs.
But I'll probably return to farming for Gariyu or Azami when I have collected all items for Otherlands Weapons upgrades.

Antiquity Garulea is probably a good choice for both occasional pain grasta and proficiency debuff grasta (can never have too much pain grasta), and 255 Gariyu is a monster. 💪

I dunno..the AD's are a blur for me, since I just care about getting the rare chant scripts and treatises/codex/opus. I can tell you my least fav AD has got to be VH Moonlight Forest AD. You can't grind anybody's light or shadow there, but what the most irritating part is for me, it took forever for Azami's Sun Goddess tome to drop. I got 7 of NS Necoco's Golden Flower Cat tome to drop before Azami's dropped. I suppose I could go back there to get Necoco's VC grasta, but do I wanna? Hell no.

If I didn't have such terrible luck with light/shadow points I'd probably have focused on one of those first Symphony characters too, after Aldo.
how many shadow do you have for Yuri? I haven't compared all the dungeons yet - you also need to consider who gets the light/shadow points of the dungeon, the number/type of rewards as well as the tomes for VCs so a lot of it is personal preference. I just enjoy how quickly I can finish it.

I haven’t done the research on every dungeon in the game - I think most (if not all) are 0.1% right? The main benefit of Beast King’s Castle is that it’s really quick for someone like me to complete compared to others.
@aeadventures are you talking about a quick layout to speedrun? If that's the case, I get it. For me, I farmed in man eating marsh. The layout is fast to speed through, and I got a lot of chants there.
