I have recently become so fascinated by Detroit.
Growing up in Detroit during the 60's was a magical experience impacting my life FOREVER... memories of Farm Crest, Bob-Lo, Michigan State Fair, Cunningham's, Kresge's, Hudson's Thanksgiving Parade, the old blue Motown building, Sears & Roebuck in Highland Park, Pershing High School, WCHB , WJLB, CKLW, Bozo the clown, Sonny Elliot, Rita Bell, Bill Kennedy, The Ghoul, Swinging Time. You will find the MOST down to earth tell it like it TIS people, the MOST HARDEST WORKING PEOPLE... there's no place like home.... MOTOWN MY HOMETOWN!!!!!!!

I'm from Ohio and I live about 1 hour 1/2 away from Detroit and it's honestly one of my favorite cities to visit for shows. I really want to spend more time downtown since it's changed so much over the years.

Detroit Institute of Art, Motown museum, greektown catch a ball game at Comerica Park and you got many bars. Not far out of Detroit go to Dearborn and visit Greenfield Village. The Detroit auto show will be going .

@@flavioflavio9278 I talked to a young gal who was a Detroit native. She said it's really becoming a neat city. It's attracting a lot of young people who like the city life. It wants to become the NY of the midwest or silicon valley of the midwest.
I've always checked people when they talk about Detroit even though I've never been. I feel like Detroit is our (Milwaukee's) cool cousin.
