If I'm not mistaken you have the blend knob on the BOD all the way down, all that distortion you dialed in is barely mixed into the tone. It can get a lot more gnarly ans in your face then that.
Excellent video , thank you for all the great plug-ins , I’ve followed the channel since you started.. I’ve played guitar in bands for over 15 years but always went to the studio to record , you’ve really inspired me to get my home set up to where it is right now.
Nice! The more you can do at home, the better. Studios have their place, but you become more useful the more you learn to do. Thanks for sticking around 🙏
I DONT KNOW if im doing something wrong here, but when i download the ampeg file from tonehunt, it only downloads .wav files which can only be added in the IR field, not the model field.
Awesome video man, love the first one. But i cant get mine to work .... when i put my focusrite scarlett solo on direct sound i can hear my bass, but when i use the neural amp modeler, nothing. I cannot change any inputs in the program, channel is always set to 1, although my bass runs through channel 2 (focusrite asio) damn
Can you try running it through a DAW? I've never tried the standalone version so I am no help there. The "direct monitoring" button on the Scarlett sends whatever is plugged in directly out bypassing the computer. Do you hear the rest of your computer come out of the Scarlett?
@@kreskowatysorry.. old strings do not automatically make your tone bad.. I love the sound of bright new strings it all depends on what genre you're playing

I'd have to check the video. If I didn't go back and forth with the blend knob, my bad 👍
Awesome video for us bedroom guitarists/bassists.

i use the tse bod amp literally all the time with the tse tube screamer and its the natiest tone but im glad to see many other options
It is a solid choice! I enjoy other options atm but it is always there for me
Thank you for video
You are welcome 😊 🙏

Sounds like you are downloading IRs, not the NAM files. Tonehunt had both. Double check and make sure you are not on an Ampeg IR page

@@stevenkambach thanks for the reply, i just downloaded tonocracy and everything is working fine. Thanks tho!
@1mawil1 awesome! Glad to hear it. A rare win in the comments 😄
I'm sorry dude, but you lost me after saying your bass has super old strings.
👋
Who TF cares?
@@orlowski2018 anyone who cares about a decent bass tone.

Good tone is good tone no matter how old your strings are.
