One sad truth. I am now in my 50's. I used to work as a nurse in a big hospital here in the Phil. I resigned with position.
During those years, I notice nurses especially those working in different government hospitals treated their patients with so much disrespect, rudeness.....simply lacking of love and care....kasi maliit and sahod at pagod. Sometimes it's so heartbreaking to see people who are already downcasted,sick and poor yet being treated like garbage. Pero wag ka, pag nasa ibang bansa, kala mo ang babait. Mauunawaan mo lang ang sinasabi ko if you are in the same field. Kung alam nyo lang ang mga ugali ng iba nating kababayang nurses here and abroad...nakakalungkot. Masyadong respector at many of them have their eyes fixed only on the money. Plus takot din sila dahil mataas ang legality sa ibang bansa. Conscious sa rights ang mga tao. Hindi pwede ang loko nila dun. Sana gaya ni Ms. Princess, makita nyo ang Panginoong Hesus sa bawat taong may sakit na kaharap nyo at hindi sa sweldo lamang. Pero may mga nurses din namang napakabait talaga sa patients at bantay or relatives ng patients. Kudos to those nurses who have a heart....
Check na Check So true. Heart center was semi government and napaka bastos ng mga nurse. Walang pakialam kahit may dugo na swero kakasaksak ng mali maling injection. Pero sa St Lukes iba. Lalo na sa Global. Iba nurse sa private mararamdaman mo talaga ang alaga vs sa government hospital na bara bara. Shit yang heart center na iyan. Dalawang kamag anak ko dinala don parehong patay. Milyon milyon pa ang singil.
So true iba ang treatment ng mga nurses sa government kadalasan bastos.
Ganda prin ni princess. Yan ang kutis pinay. Maganda na, mabait at very humble. God bless you Princess!

I am a proud Nurse and I have to say, one of the most difficult jobs is a nurse's job but it's fulfilling!!!

Yung totoong nurse talaga may puso. May malasakit sa pasyente. At nararamdaman ko naman si Princess isa sa mga ganoong klaseng tao. Ang yaman yaman niya pero nagtatrabaho siya para maglingkod sa mga may sakit. Kahanga hanga naman talaga.

Yes, isa yan sa mga napansin ko sa mga pinoy nurses abroad, nakasabit ang stethoscope para ipakita at ipangalandakan na nurse sila when infact tapos na ang shift nila. Papara nalang ng taxi naka sabit parin sa leeg ang Stethoscope nila. Bat di nalang kaya nila gawing kwentas.... or earings..... 😅😂🤣😄
Alexandra Jones I know what you mean about nurses in PI who were and are rude to poor patients. But if they're rich patients suck up to the max sila. This is the reality then and I hope nabago na Ang system na Ito Ng double standard na treatment. Although Hindi ko nilalahat kasi meron talagang mga nurses na their hearts are in the right place. And to them, God keep you and more blessings!
Wherever you go whatever the profession may be may ganito tlaga, not just for nurses. Im working here abroad and alot of saudis expecting us nurses to be the most masunurin sa lahat ng bagay! And of course as a health professional i know my stand, i know my job description and i know the risk. But I know as well where to stand, some of them calling me “rude” because I answer them back for telling explaining to them what are the conditions and why I cannot give their request. People can be judgemental sometime because of their selfishness. And I believe as i have worked with alot of diffrent races, filipino nurses are very passionate with work and once nasa work na regardless of mataas ang sahod or not, we always do the extra mile. Try nyo maging nurse ang mga indians or sudanesse pra compare nyo sa mga nurse sa pinas.

The good thing She's a Christian now, and hoping She also shares about ChristＪＥＳＵＳ to every patients, and it's not easy , cause, not all ppl will believed and most of the time ppl will hate you.

The joy of nursing in America comes not only in caring for the sick but from the big bucks that you are rewarded from that 12 hour shift! Hehehe. Per diem nurses in the San Francisco Bay Area get paid $100/hr. That's way more that most movie stars in the Philippines make.

Tyler McCloud Where did you get your numbers? Even in the bay area a $100/hr salary is big. Even if that's true there's this thing called tax which cuts the whole thing for like 30%.
dOnLyDsKyiSFaLLinG that's UCSF or Kaiser pay. Probably with at least 5 years of experience. I know some of my friends make $2000 a night.
