Vettel is a "winner" to the extreme. When he disobeyed team orders and stayed ahead of webber - "multi 21" or something. He doesnt always give space or let off when its certain a guy has more speed and a good line to get passed. We saw that again in the opening lap of monza this year when he spun out after touching hamilton. Kyvatt was on the inside going by at high speed, vettel must slow down. Literally "dont keep going" like kyvatt said 😂

I dont know why people think this is funny, Kvyat was in the wrong and Vettel/Raikkonen could have been hurt pretty fucking bad. Racing is not like most sports, making mistakes like Kvyat does in almost every fucking race can actually kill someone.

I love Daniil, I genuinely think that he had a potential ceiling higher than Ricciardo but Red Bull were way too harsh. Think how much Max was crashing when he started at RB. They gave him the time and he developed but they didn’t give Daniil enough time

The Cellar Door, they should've let him finish the season. But Verstappen was always going into RB after 2016 regardless, Kvyat just gave them a big reason to do it early. I mean of all people, he hits Vettel, *TWICE?* The one guy left in F1 that RB respects...
I used to hate him because, frankly, his 2014 seat should have gone to Felix da Costa (and yes, I'm Portuguese and biased). I didn't think he earned it then.

Kvyat had a strong arrive in F1, outscored his 2014 teammate, Jean-Éric Vergne, and had a seat in Red Bull. Even though he performanced well there and beated Danny Ric in 2015, Red Bull had a young rising star, extremly fast, named Max Verstappen. When Daniil had his nightmare weekend at Sochi 2016, Marko and Hornet had the opportunity to put Max in the top team. And he absolutely nailed it's opportunity by taking victory at his first race, Barcelona 2016. After that, Kvyat found out that he woudn't be driving in Red Bull again and everything just went wrong. His consistent speed was over, his consistent crashes keep happening, and he was soundely beaten by Carlos. Marko keeped him to 2017, so he could show up, but he was a shade of himself and got the boot. Hopefully he will keep his good performances after a year-off and being the first driver at Toro Rosso will probably give Kvyat more confidence.

Complaining that other teams dont have the balls to let young talented drivers race, but keeping "water bottle carrier" Bottas, when Ocon would deserve the seat much more. But giving the seat to Ocon or Wehrlein may anger his prima donna Hamilton and lead to an mercedes internal championship conflict, so he rather passed the buck to the other teams.

The reason why this man become so bad isn't because of he lack raw skills, his mental is shattered the moment red bull demoted him, it's a hard recovery, physical injury is one thing but mental injury really takes time to heal.
That’s why you need mental strength in F1, something Daniil lacked.
He certainly makes races more exciting to watch.

RedBull beat this dude down mentally. Early 20's and having to go on a rollercoaster ride like that. They should have looked after him better, max got let off the hook soo many times. Him and Max could have made an incredible 1-2 after Danny Ric left and Gasly could have stayed and developed himself and never made the disastrous jump to RB, and then go team up with Alex for AT.
Now Rb have ruined Alex Albon, ignore Gasly and booted Kyvat for another rushed talent in Yuki Tsunoda, who's starting to look worrying already. RB could have an incredible line up if they just a gave a little bit more time.
Really pleased for Kvyat, he got shafted by the Red Bull team and to still want to come back to F1 and that team in particular shows a lot of courage. Don't be surprised if he pulls out some good results next year.
C'mon! Kvyat, we have been waiting for you!
