Well, I think you can cover till NDLS, as daylight would fade away after that. And if this 1 hr delay persists, you might get a chance to cover the PTKC to SVDK route, which I never went through (I used to get down at PTKC), but it might be picturesque. Also, the main purpose the trunk lines get triple tracked is to physically separate freight trains from passenger trains, so that freight trains can go their own way without being delayed.
