THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
Anybody else binge watching Mr. Gene while were in lockdown due to COVID-19?
Covid is bs it was all about corruption and control. 😡😡😡
By far the best opening ever!!!! Lol
Love your shows thanks for all the good tips you must have a lot of good lakes around your place
Your the best Richard...You are real with no phoniness about you.
Epic statement by this Fisherman; " Fishin' is just plainly fishin'. "
Enjoying your wonderful fishing show 👍👏
Sittin here sippin' whiskey watching Richard Gene The Fishing machine, wishin' I was creekside with ya! God bless.
This is no question, the best fishing channel on the old tube. Appreciate all the effort it takes to make these videos.
Best fishing channel ever
You are the Best!!
Now that's a truly happy man ...
Now that right there is a beautiful stream of water.
Great fun going fishing with you!!
I like to watch your videos I really like to fish
Love these creek videos
Awesome informative Video experience 👏 Y'alls
Mean Jean your the man
You are awesome my friend
When I was little,, My Grandma would take us fishing. When we got to the spot, she would get us settled in our spots then she would walk off a ways and fish by herself with just a hook, worm and sometimes a split-shot just a few feet off shore. She would ALWAYS catch the biggest fish.. We named that the Grandma rig and I still use it to this very day. She was by far the best fisherman I ever knew.
perch jerk'en is lots of fun
I love these vids special the creek fishing vids and the the crappie vids even though I have never caught a crappie
That blue gill is good eating right there
AWESOME video!!
Just his funny demeanor reminds me of ol Ernest P. Worrell.
He’s got it, and Iv got him.. such a beast
GOOD TO SEE ELMO WAS ABLE TO LOOK FER SOME WORMS FER YA. HE DOES SHOW UP AT THE WRITE TIME SOME TIMES
I am so glad to see your videos. I have learned so much. I live in an area with almost no accessible creeks or freshwater streams or lakes but you have inspired me to learn anyway about freshwater fishing. Why? Because that’s what I learned using a cane pole and bobber when I was a kid 70 years ago. Old ladies can learn new stuff too.
THANKS FOR TEACHING US WHAT TO USE AND WHEN TO USE IT.
Enjoy these type of videos, I’m a panfisherman myself like the multiple species
I can tell by his posture .
Much respect for RGTFM. He catches fish because he has confidence he’s gonna catch fish. And, by the way, this water is beautiful. Further, the history books are gonna say he made fishing so easy that aliens must have done it. Just say’n.
Love your videos
Thanks for explaining your techniques, means more to me than just watching fish being caught one after one.
Keep bluegill Richard and freeze them. Keep the bluegill for catfish and bass fishing 🙂
Thanks Richard for the creek fishing episode! My young boys and I always look forward to your videos, we watch them together and then talk about how we can use your techniques when we fish together. Your channel has really helped my boys learn to appreciate the fish, big and small for their beauty and the experience. Thanks again 👍🏻
Thats awesome, glad to hear it! Nothing like some fishing with dad :)
This comment is awesome 😊👍
Richard could probably use a piece of concrete with a hook made from a tree branch and catch more fish than me.
Richard, I’d like to invite you up to South Carolina for some red eye, sunfish and trout fishing on the Chattooga and Chauga rivers.
I heard he caught a 30lb flathead with his anchor
I feel the same but me and my brother used to hook em all day long when we were kids.
Haha, yup.
@@cris31869 if Richard can't make it...:)
Those first couple fish you caught were Redbreast Sunfish.
Dang Richard you sniffing that grass made me nervous you find some doggy doo!
I got that same reel for my pan fish and 6 more reels I use to for them and I use 4 for catfish
Lmao..you are the best
I call fishing weightless, fishing naked. Lol. Panfish love the natural presentation & like hitting it on the fall. In clear water, if you can't see your worm set the hook. Sometimes, I'll add a split shot & see if I can catch a bigger panfish off of the bottom. I have caught more of a variety of panfish off off the bottom, if you can get it past the Bluegills. Lol.
We call them rock bass, they have a bigger mouth but looks like a bluegill, they don't grow much bigger than a gill and they will chase a lure. I live in E. ST LOUIS ILL, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. I ENJOY YOUR SHOW you remind me of my dad, just like you we'd go fishing 2or 3 times a week, he would have all kinds of sayings and you have that touch, good fishing brother
That fish you caught that you didnt know is an ozark bass. Looks similar to a warmouth. I catch them alot in a creek not far from where i live
Golly bum that's goodn
Mr. Gene , look for a hook called *Long Shank Carlile* bluegill hook .
Do some trout fishing please my good man
There are bass in the creek that I fish in, but to catch them on worms I would have to beat the channel cats and drum back.
I really enjoy watching you catch fish. You really love fishing, and it’s not about trying to catch the big un. We need more folks like you
You're so funny Mr. Gene..you put a smile on my face today. Thanks
pearly Charles I was wondering where you would go
Angela Sheppard, I'm worried about The Old Fisherman. Have you heard anything??
pearly Charles I think he's getting burned out. Not being able to go to 'his' spots with out other people there. He did get hot and tired while working on that building.
@@angelasheppard7197Thanks Angela
Richard, you made me want to take a walk down my local creek! It's not too many hours from you, and it's great. Every time it rains enough to flood the creek out, a new variety of fish gets washed in!
Thanks for giving me a fishing fix. Had to do lawn work eariler.
That is the smallest breed of bass in the southeast United States... And it is the predominant fish in North & South Peachtree Creek which runs 20 miles north and south each way... Inside the perimeter of Atlanta Georgia
🐟
Mr. Richard...first off, you're hilarious. Watching you at the start of the video was priceless. Love the content you're putting out and your humble nature. Will support you for as long as you do this.

It was full of freshwater clams. Do Alabama creeks have them ? 🤔
Awesome creek fishing.
Richard have you ever caught a knotty head here in Virginia we have them in our creeks.

I have learned a lot on crappie fishing from your videos. It helped me put a few more fish in the boat this past Sunday on showing the fish a different presentation of the jigs I was using. Always look toward to your videos. Can't wait for the next one.

You sure are having fun
Gene The Fishing Machine is the man!
We call your unidentified fish a warmouth. That's what Kansas considers them. They fight like the rest of them

I enjoy your videos , great time fishing, thank you for sharing.
Mr. Gene, I have lived in N. Alabama (Arab) about 12 yrs, but just recently are free to do some fishing. Not having a boat, I have found it impossible to find good places to fish from the bank, except a few places like Browns Creek causeway. Have not found any "creeks" with road access like the one you are at for this "Creek Fishing The Old Fashioned Way" video. Any ideas or direction you could share would be appreciated so I can take my grandkids Thanks.
Thanks for another great video. My 2 little boys and me love watching you!!!
