Now, that's how you cover another artist's song! RIP Gary Moore and Jimi Hendrix....
That was probably the best version I've ever heard
One of a few, great artists, who could conjure up the proper Hendrix vibe. Respect.
Darrin Mooney just killin' it on drums..
Yea. There are a few times where I listen to the drums more than anything else on stage and this is one of them. Also when Dave Grohl plays drums and and Thomas Haake for Meshuggha.
No other way to play em on Manic Depression..I've just been turned on to Mr.Moore on Yu tube.his version of this jam is now my ' go to' choice.
I am a drummer and this is not great, mostly for the sound quality- - Mitch Mitchell is the icon
What every guitarist and artist wants to be
the sound and tone spot on . what a sad loss seen gary quite a few times just magic .
Not only Gary, the whole band was super great.
Oh man, doing Mitch Mitchell. I'm a guitarist, and play I drums VERY basically, but this guy pulled off Mitch AND SOME!
Gary Moore has been a favorite for decades. Hendrix from day one. What an excellent performance.
Under appreciated, he always played everything with huge amounts of emotion, which a lot of guitar players do not!
❤killed it! Entire band right on the money 💴!!😮
Great cover. Everything, guitar, drums, voice absolutely true to the original
Other than Jimi Hendrix, this is the next best version of this song.
Jeff Beck
Great cover on the Mitch Mitchell's drumming!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hee-to the- ha..... but seriously!
Now that's a RAW POWERFUL version !
Gary Moore, making Hendrix look easy!
What an awesome cover !
Wow! Amazing cover by Gary Moore. Thanks for posting.
So glad I got to see him before he passed a way....phenomenal
Rip in peace legend
NOW THAT'S how you cover Manic Depression!!!
Amazing guitar work.
the only one that could play this other than Jimi with the same wow factor...
Jeff Beck
@@joanstone6740 jeff is a great player...but i still think GM is more to my liking.
@@johncartelli czcams.com/video/DqmrGgrYssE/video.html GM= perfect cover JB= next level interpretation
The Master!!!!!
Yes! !
The drummer ? For sure ;)
Pretty sure Jimi is the master
@@henryt2229 pretty sure anakin is not the master but jimi is indeed
No one could do this justice as well as Gary Moore. Come on. Who’s going to step to that?
Force of nature!
Wellllll. I could looop this for years
The greatest ever.
throw yours away
Incredable. As always! !
Just love this version. The tune is one of Hendrix's greatest tunes, Mitch Mitchell's (maybe) best drum rifs ever, but to boot, My Best Bud David Bronze is playing bass here with Gary. Blew me away when I saw it. Bronze Man is the best (played with just about everyone by the way)
Sounds amazing! 🔥🔥
MAGNIFICO
Great performance!!
Nice version grande Gary Moore,RIP,
Damn this is a great cover, I love to do this song live, but I can’t do it this kinda justice
Gary, Jimi More! ☮️🍀
Awesome...
la perfection..........
de lo mejor de los ultimos tiempos , un grande de la guitar
RIP, Gary.. RIP, Jimi...
Arguably a GOAT candidate.
I sang and played lead on this with my band in 1968. We were all 15! Of course, I didn't play like Gary, but we did it quite well. It's really such a great drum song, and my best friend Kelly did an awesome job doing Mitch Mitchell (one of my fave drum mers).
Whew
Otisuki Godzilla! Well done lads.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SRV AND GARY HAVE THE SAME DNA LIKE JIMI??????
Cool Strat!!Thank you Leo Fender and Dimarzio.....
Gary sounds great beck does a good version too
Wow, first time I caught that one. Jimi woulda been happy
Gary fender moore
Is the director the drummers cousin? he's good but thats Gary Moore over there spielberg!
1:31 How the fuck is he sustaining that note?
doesn’t look like he’s using a pedal
Gary is so fast
ГМур постарел, конечно. Но как рвать гитарой душу - он отлично помнит! умеет )))
Man, I bet Hendrix is looking down taking notes...
This was easy for Gary as he had already ripped this song off with his song World of confusion with Scars.
Hardly distinguishable from Jimi.
Great version. But Fiesta and Candy Apple just don't look good side by side.
Gary Moore is wonderful. Still, nobody but Hendrix can play those tunes! Hendrix, his songs, and his his personality are so entwined, anything but the original leaves me feeling empty. It’s not lack of technique or anything technical. Hendrix is simply irreplaceable….
One of a few, great artists, who could conjure up the proper Hendrix vibe. Respect.
Amen.
Randy Hansen is king of that
Garry was far superior to Hendrix.
