Kensico Dam, Valhalla, New York - 2024

Hello everyone! Welcome to my CZcams channel Narayan & Max Studios. In this video, my parents and I visited Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, New York. This Dam is 307 feet high and 1,843 feet long, and forms the Kensico reservoir. It was completed in 1917. There is a beautiful park on the grounds side of the dam with a tall structure and memorial dedicated to the victims of 9/11. We climbed up many stairs to reach the top of the dam then walked across, after taking in the amazing and breathtaking view of the reservoir. Going back down was a little challenging due to the steep and narrow stairs. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend it. We headed to the town area for ice cream at Village Creamery & Sweetshop. I got a vanilla cone and my parents shared a chocolate brownie fudge milkshake. Both were delicious.
