during uma and dragon's mal battle , it was an wasted opportunity for ben to not transform into an beast version of himself since he roar before he jump into the water to stop them from fighting

noo emily mal isnt romanticizing the isle she knows its bad but she thinks thats all shes worth, her mum def traumatized her
she misses her life bc she has mommy issues she knows its horrible but she thinks at least its better than having to perform it's sad she has low self esteem and thinks ben doesnt TRULY know her or accept her thats why she does all the magic stuff in the beginning. and ben was upset bc she lied abt not using magic anymore to do things to get ahead. it was abt being honest with each other.
dont be so hard on Ben ik hes cringe(hes supposed to be) bc hes a veryyyyy good guy and mal thinks deep down she doesnt deserve someone who loving and kind to her. but they did say theyd be honest and he thought she was actually happy in the beginning. thats why when the mural was revealed at the end she was happy bc it was of her, w purple hair, w green eyes etc to show that he loved her, saw her and actually accepted her, for her, flaws and all. and not of the person she thought she had to be. ben never asked her to change.

I'm new to this genre of video. The difficulty with doing a commentary is you have to assume the people watching have never seen the movie. As much as it's annoying to have to reintroduce the characters and backstory, it's necessary so any viewer can watch.
