Nope mate, number 2 Russian made 3M54 Kalibr wins for me because max operation range is 4500km so it has the best range of all it should have been the number one instead also between Mach 2.9 and 3.0 there is not a lot difference so it can 0.1 Mach slower but delivers devastating damage Russia win this in conclusion

BrahMos Aerospace Corporation's director Dr Sivathanu Pillai said, "The missile performance was absolutely normal until the last phase, but the missile missed the target, though it maintained the direction." and that "The problem was in the software, not hardware".[48][49] The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said that there were "small hitches" in the last stage of the test firing due to delay in input of satellite navigation input to the Inertial Navigation System, the missile traveled for 112 seconds instead of the slated 84 seconds and fell 7 km away from the target.[50] According to BrahMos Corporation, another test of the new missile was to be conducted within one month,[51] but it was eventually conducted on 4 March 2009 and was deemed successful.[52] BrahMos was test-fired again on 29 March 2009. Two mistakes, Storm shadow is a joint UK/French missile and is actually called SCALP by the French military. The UK has nothing to do with the development of the Tomahawk and is simply an operator.

Concern is how much time do you have, make a decision particularly there are multiple missile, and how to deploy your ships and weapon systems. There are many anti-missile system and gatlin guns out there for selection, problem is reaction time, defensive option, then shoot.
@@cyrilchui2811 I think the problem is much in your head. Having multiple options only increases the survivability factor. Choosing an option is not even an option. All defense options are chosen in case of imminent threat based on threat level. An AAA gun wouldn't be of much help against a hypersonic missile. An anti-missile defense system won't be of much use against a boat! It's also threat levels based on which suitable systems react automatically!

I think Russian don't use brahmos because they have P-800oniks and 3M54 KALIBR which have similar capabilities. So it doesn't make sense of using brahmos and they have even built hypersonic missile that much better than brahmos until brahmos mk2.

The software used to guide the BrahMos missile accurately to its target is developed by India. The support system used to convey trajectory changes for targeting moving vessels and the fire control system used to track and engage targets are also developed by India.
DRDO has developed indigenous seekers and replace the Russian ones with indigenous seekers. Now, the propulsion is the only contribution of Russia in the project. Since BrahMos is a joint venture, India can’t produce everything itself, because then it won’t remain a joint venture.
The development of the air variant of BrahMos is completely undertaken by HAL. The integration of these missiles on Su-30MKI is done entirely by India.

The range of SOM is ~280 km. The given range of 180 km here is the SOM-J variant developed for the JSF project which will fit in to the weapons bay of F-35.

Storm Shadow is Anglo-French, not French. Without BAE Dynamics, Matra, the French defence company, could never have produced it. France invested less in the weapon's development than the UK and bought fewer. France has about 500 hundred of them; the UK has around 1000 in stock. A 2015 enhancement of the system was carried out by the UK to integrate it with the Typhoon fighter jet. It has been used in war by the UK's RAF Tornado bombers in 2003 which fired 27 against Iraqi targets, and in 2011 against Libya by the RAF and the French and Italian air forces. It was also used against Islamic State in Syria by the RAF in 2017. The same year, the UK government announced a mid-life refurbishment of the system which will improve its engine, guidance systems and other components to extend its deployment to 2030.
France also have the MdCN missile which is a naval version of the SCALP missile so UK and France have approximately the same number of SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles
