I don't know if I'm getting too old or what but somehow I hate this Kylo even more than the original.
Han dying of embarrassment over his son's shitty raps was the best possible ending for him.
And yet somehow still more dignified and respectful to the legacy of the character than we got in the actual movie

I love how every storyline in this series is extremely mundane, *except* for whatever the Hell Creepio is up to.
I'm betting that the Riddle of the Rune Forge reactivated Laser Moon's consciousness and brings Palpatine back to life. That's why they use the scene from Exegol in TROS. I think Creepio was intrigued by the riddle because he's been experimenting with immortality. Naturally, Laser Moon's consciousness would be a big key to immortality. Fartoo also has some of the code of the consciousness inside him, it was a virus from the defense matrix in The Singularity Engine. I think Creepio was hoping that completing the riddle would meld him with Laser Moon's consciousness (or create a new one), but he inadvertently reactivated it and reanimated Palpatine, the last carrier of the consciousness.
I'm telling you, that whole scene was so out of place I spent a lot of time watching and rewatching like, "What the hell is going on here?" We're meant to laugh it off like it's just Creepio doing creepy shit that doesn't work, but I think there's a lot more to it than that. I think I figured it out. The Laser Moon story is not done because Palpatine has to be in Episode 9. And Creepio will always be a psychopath obsessed with immortality. Those two are on a collision course.

His DMT trip made it appear that he’d turned a corner. But apparently not. Perhaps he finally has to face what he’s done and actually does sacrifice himself for the flesh beasts that he’s always ridiculed.
It would be a hell of a sacrifice that would bring the story full circle. Creepio sacrifices himself like Vader in the original Lucas trilogy.
I’m not sure what will happen but that Rune Forge thing had significant meaning that we won’t understand for awhile. I guarantee it.
Pretty straight forward, creepio does what r2 lets them do. Auralnauts does sociopathic on ^4 levels.
Creepio and the Robot Chicken iteration of Palpatine are my two favorite Legends characters, hands down.

That's why they use the scene from Rise of Skywalker with the lightning going up on Exegol. We may not fully understand the ramifications of this until Episode 9, but I'm pretty sure that's where this is going.

There is something Ron Burghundy-esque about that line.
It definitely had that supportive dad vibe that they really nailed. The first line is like him using the current gem's lingo before he defaults to something you'd say in the 80's.

The ending was far more emotional then original one. The moment, when she light up lasermaster baton hits my nostalgia hard. The abscence of a music score makes it very emotional. Great job guys.

Honestly. I couldn't believe how much I was feeling.
The whole lead-up with Rey walking up the path and the loudspeaker talking about Dirk Lasermaster and all that, it was really incredible and epic. To see the emptiness and how he's now past his prime, no one cares about him anymore, they all like "Banana Time" now, it was actually kind of heartbreaking. Dirk put a lot of thought and effort into creating his routine, he was a trail blazer. And then it gets bastardized by people like Kylo.
Hell, Kylo didn't even face reveal till the bridge scene!

The Python vibe is definitely there, intentional or not. The comically serious, straightlaced authority figure surrounded by insanity. I can totally picture Graham Chapman in the role of General Hux, speaking to his army of dimwitted goofball Stormtroopers. Speaking of Monty Python, the "So please! Tell me someone..." and the "yes we've got that" was almost Chapman-esque in delivery.

I like how you waited for all three sequels to be released, because you wanted to all three Auralnauts versions to have a consistent story.

The only disappointing thing about this was looking back at the other episodes of Auralnauts Star Wars and seeing there's usually 1-3 years between each on.

They always have that effect.
It's not that there aren't auralnauts episodes that I like better.
I have my favorites like the Original Trilogy of regular star wars.
But they always deliver and episode of higher quality than one can hope for.

Now we get more gems like this with the most hilarious continuity.

I think this could end up being the best of the trilogies. The movies were so bad that it's possible to do almost anything with them.
I'm betting that the Riddle of the Rune Forge has SIGNIFICANT importance. I think it inadvertently reactivated Laser Moon's consciousness and reanimated Palpatine. Fartoo has the consciousness virus inside him and Creepio is obsessed with immortality. It fits. But it didn't go as he expected. That's why they use the scene from TROS, Laser Moon's consciousness was reborn and Palpatine is back from the dead.

I just wanted to say that I'm 12 minutes in and this is genius. The narrative is so cohesive, it's like watching a short film.
These guys have made easily the most narratively solid Star Wars stories since the original trilogy forty years ago, it’s crazy.

I was legit happy that Duke Dirtfarmer was able to become a confident dude after his bad trip in Attack of the Phantom Past. Seeing him fall on hard times now is crushing. I'm so much more invested in this story than the one that Disney puked out. You guys are legendary.
