    This is the worst feeling in the whole world. I know rationally that I'm okay, and I've had so many panic attacks and I've never died, but Every time it happens, I think to myself, "this is it. This is the time I'll have to go to the hospital or i will stop breathing or my heart will give out." It's unfair to have to go through this constantly. I take comfort in knowing there are people out there who care and want to help though, and there are.others who understand me. Thank you all.

    WHAT HELPED ME:
    - licking ice cube 🧊
    - sticking my head into freezer 🥶
    - washing my face, neck and wrists many times 💦
    - wet towel (cold water) at the back of the neck or forehead 🤕
    - opening all windows or going out 🌳
    - chamomille tea ☕
    - putting feet in container with warm salty water🧂
    - drinking water🥤
    - massaging ears 👂
    - identifying 5 nearest objects 🔎
    - focusing on random details 🧐
    - singing music with positive lyrics 🎵
    - crying 😭
    I'm writing this while having panic attack. 💛

      @JayLeeBeanz You have to do something about it. It will not go away by itself. Eat healthier, do more sport, go out for walks, be productive. If it doesn't help, then you have to search for a doctor. Just bear in mind that you have to do something about it and that you are not alone, many people will help you when you have a panic attack. I have the same problem, and I also must do something about it, or it will Ruin your entire life. I hope that you are well. Take care.

      Your comment made me cry. I am suffering from social anxiety and emetophobia and had a panic attack in which I felt like I could no longer hold on. No longer live like this. People say it gets better but when you are in it, so deeply, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for sharing some positivity

      I know the feeling so well. It is easy to say and understanding when you are ok.
      Buth when you are in the middle of a panickattack you are complete lost in it, each time again.
      One year ago i had a heartattack since that day it become worser, because the feeling is almost the same . I am 51 years young and thankfull that i am still here, it was just on the edge of leaving this world.

    A lot of these comments are 8-12 months ago. I wanted to remind anyone presently that you are not alone. Calling doctors, therapists, trying to figure out how to survive with panic disorder. We have to remember every panic attack we’ve ever had we made it through. I’m having them everyday again. Even right now. I love you all 💗

      Panic attacks are crazy man. I’ve got a script for vistaril now that I take , it helps too. I hate anxiety and panic attacks so bad, I’m such a strong person I often joke that I’m a machine, but panic attacks take me down . And the worst part is a lot of people don’t understand it and I catch a lot of shit about it, especially work related. Would you shame a person with cancer for having cancer? Or punish them because they had to miss work ? Mental health needs more awareness

    Anyone reading this, it’s not real. It can take over and feel real and unbearable but you’re bearing it every second, every hour, every day. And you’re not going anywhere because you’re stronger than this and it can’t take you. Imagine we are all holding hands, because we are, and we will get through together until hope is front and center and not just a moving target.       I feel like dying rn. My breathing feels so heavy and suffocating while I was trying to sleep. I started shaking and crying. I'm overwhelmed from being sick and my family are scaring me saying I have covid and the freaked me out and I guess it caused an panic attack

      Bro, is it normal for the panic to happen in intense waves throughout the night? I'm in an extremely threatening and life altering situation that's been overly stressful on me but I've never felt this kind of panic before. It's ridiculously intense. Is it normal?

I’m sleeping a bit more… but I awake feeling like I can’t breathe, heart palpitations, migraines, pain, lots of anxiety and panic. I didn’t know what was going on at first. I’ve had panic attacks during the day… but nothing like this. This is TERRIFYING!
      I’ve been to the er for them four times in the last few weeks. I thought I was having heart attacks. They’ve done ekgs. Ct scan. I’m being told they’re nocturnal panic attacks.

      Not in over 7 months now. Alot of prayer and strengthening my relationship with Jesus helped me get rid of the attacks. Learning to tap into your spirit when your mind tries to take over helps tremendously. Prayer does this for me. Prayer, and speaking in tongues.

    A month ago I had my first panic attack, I felt like a couldn’t breath and I thought I was going to die or end up in the hospital, my family tried helping me but It got worse. I kept moving around and hyperventilating, but I’m here right now and I’m alive and there isn’t anything to worry about and you will be fine ❤️

    This meditation is the only thing that keeps me sane during a panic attack. I lay in bed propped up on pillows, a blanket draped over my head and shoulders, another blanket over the rest of me, holding onto my teddy bear for comfort and listen to this on repeat for hours until the panic eases or I fall asleep. Both are equally satisfying. Thank you for providing such a calming experience for everyone. And thanks to everyone here for opening up and sharing! I definitely don’t feel so alone after reading the comments. ❤

    I woke up at 12:30 am with a panic attack feeling like my arm was heavy, tingling and numb, and went into panic thinking the worst was going to happen to me. I felt my heart beat fast, I felt my body weaken like I was going to faint. I turned on this meditation and now at the end of it I feel more relaxed and calmed.     I've always dealt with depression and anxiety, but I have never had a panic attack before up until a week ago when I had my very first attack. I don't wish this on anyone! Most terrifying experience I've ever gone through. In about 2 weeks I have had 3 panic attacks. Writing this comment now I have gone 4 days without an attack, but I am always thinking about it and paranoid. I'm always anticipating my next attack.... Which thankfully has not happened yet. And I hope I never have an attack ever again ): Anyone out there who is also experiencing panic attacks for the first time, just know you are not alone! Blessed be!

      @@lalitatasnaruangrong5248 I know the feeling ! The good part is that you can get through it. And you’re not alone! Many many people go through the same thing and worse. Yoga and exercise has helped me a lot, and just over all keeping busy with little tasks/chores around the house. Take your vitamin D! And look into an amazing herb/supplement called Ashwagandha. I’ve been taking it for months now and have had no panic attacks since March of this year 🤞🏽 stay strong! ♥

    I cant believe how this meditation helped me tonight. I’m crying writing this because my panic attack was so bad that I was getting ready to go to the hospital. I’m so much more calm all I can do is cry. Thank you so much this. And to all the people who are here for the same reason, you are not alone. In the moment it seems like nothing is ok…but you are going to get past it. Focus on the calm you will feel when it’s over.

      I’m right there with all of you, I started having anxiety and panic attacks after my sister and brother died 5 months ago and after that my husband lost his job and our medical benefits. It put so much pressure on me I believe I had a nervous breakdown, the crying, the heart beating out of my chest, feeling like it’s over and the shakiness and restlessness just made it worse, sometimes I wonder how I’m still here.     I really tried to focus but unfortunately this did not help with my severe panick attack. My heart is pounding and my body is shaking and during this video I even started crying. But this is an amazing video, I am sure it is helpful to a lot of people, so I really thank you for helping others

    So many beautiful souls on here. I'm so grateful for your words, love, reassurance and support. I'm new to panic disorder. Having panic attacks coming in waves, day and night for over 7 days. My life has been flipped. I'm a sole mumma to 3 boys and get scared I'm scaring them and I'm going to die, even though I've had so many doctors, nurses and social workers tell me today at the emergency Ward, I will be okay.     I am STRUGGLING, I’ve had panic attacks consistently for the last two years after being in remission for the year and a half before that. I’m just so angry, and scared. Why is this happening again, how do I get them to stop. Living in fear is absolutely awful, I’m scared to be alone, I’m scared to drive, I literally think I’m dying every day… I just want to be better and be able to live my life without worrying about what COULD happen. I’m proud of every single one of you who have been struggling and are here right now reading this message. There is always hope, no matter how scary this is.

      Im struggling with intense attacks at the moment (and lately) as well. One of the best products i have found is called lucent botanical calm mints. They have cbd and some other natural herbal ingredients like ashwagandha. Its the only thing outside of prescription meds ive found to work. You let them sit under your tongue and it starts to work in 5 - 20 minutes (everyone is different). And the best thing is theres no wuch thing as taking too many, worst itll do is make you sleepy.
      Hope this can help some. Youre not alone, were all going to get through this. Just gotta keep pushing. One day at a time

    Thank you so much for this video, it really helped me.
    If anyone in the comments wants additional approaches towards a panic attack, here are tips that have helped me:
    - if you are hyperventilating, you are already taking in enough oxygen. So when you try to concentrate on slowing your breathing, focus on your exhales and getting them as slow/deep as possible, instead of focusing on the inhales. Pursing the lips can help with getting exhales slower.
    - the dive reflex can slow your heart rate, that happens when people dive into cold water but you can simulate that by submerging your face in cold water. You can also put an ice pack on the area under your eyes - leaning forward and holding the breath can strengthen the effectiveness.

    I have been suffering with panic attacks since 1992. Yesterday, I had the worst ever. My hands went numb and tingly and then it spread down my arms and legs and then I started shaking. Uncontrollably. My stomach then started to have tremors. My muscles froze in my hands so severely I couldn't hold my phone to call for help. It lasted almost 2 hours. Today my body hurts. My heart is broken. I am embarrassed. I don't want to be sick with this disorder anymore. It is stealing my joy and purpose. I even called different therapists, so I don't have to do this alone....and no one called me back. No one deserves this pain.

    I’m pregnant and just had one of the worst anxiety attacks of my life. I had no one around to support me and calm me down and in a last resort, to keep stress away from my baby, turned to this video. Now I’m crying because even though I’m physically alone, I feel safe here. Thank you

      My daughter is 15 and gets sleep paralysis, I've never had it, so I don't know how to help her. It gets very bad sometimes and now she is having panic attacks because of the sleep paralysis, do you have any advice on how I can help her?

      Oh that's one of the worse ones.I have problems coming out of dreaming and get pulled back in.So scary.If my kids are home they help me wake up.

    Love everyone’s comment. I felt like I was alone struggling through an attack which put me into an overdrive and made it worse.     I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, and anxiety; and the medications I take cause me to go through serotonin toxicity periodically. I put this recording on my phone, and even though it does not take away the physical part, it reduces my suffering tremendously. I don't know what makes it so different, but it is amazing.     One final update for you! Yesterday was my final treatment! Thankyou from the very fibre of my being for holding my hand for those terrifying times. You truly will never know the difference it has made. Also, several of the radiotherapy team have saved it to their favourites too so hopefully it will have a knock on effect and help many more people. With so much love and gratitude 🙏💞

    A wild panic attack suddenly appeared and Google led me here. I'm so grateful for how calming this video is and how it gets straight to business without any fluff!     And those who are struggling with these attacks don't worry nothing will happen to you i know it is the worst feeling when having an panic attack, you u are strong and brave you are a fighter you will defeat this, panic/anxiety like you always have.     I just had an panic attack and this helped a lot, i hoped i found this earlier when i had a worse attack. I felt like throwing up but i have etemophobia so i had a really bad panic attack anf everyone was asleep so i couldnt do much.

    I've recently developed panic disorder, and keep having those ones where it feels like you are dying of a heart attack when it's at it's worse. Listening to this really does help, though it feels very weird, as like with the panic I could feel my insides physically doing things but it was more like it was "correcting" itself and after the feeling and dread were gone. It's an interesting experience to learn how the subconscious mind can affect the body, positively or otherwise.

      I’ve had my first panic attack 4 days ago. It like I’m in a state of fear 24/7, but videos like this one really help me out.
      You’re not alone my friend! Calm down as much as possible and BREATHE. I usually go lay in bed and put some headphones in and watch these videos!
