- Today we are checking out Airline Skate Center in Metairie, LA! This rink surpised me a lot with how many great skaters and different stlyes of roller skating they had. I would reccomend anyone visiting to check this skating rink out.

We need more skaters in phoenix and Vegas. I hardly ever seen them in the parks. Sunset park occasionally.
I used to skate in Phoenix during the 90's. I still got skates but not used them in so long. Currently in Tucson.

Hi!! Thank you for the review. I'm traveling to NO soon and planned to bring my skates. I've never skated on that type of floor, so now I'm a little nervous. Is there a big difference between skating on a wood floor and the type of floor the Airline has? I don't want to injure myself, especially while I'm out of town.
I don’t think there is a huge difference personally. You can definitely tell a difference but I think you will get used to it after a few laps!

How was the floor? It looked like polished concrete, was it really grippy ?
It was pretty good I would say a little grippy but not super bad

Any inline skate shops in phoenix or Vegas? Trying to find a place I can try on a Rollerblade Cruiser cuz I don’t know how accurate their sizing is.
I only know of a quad skate shop in Vegas don’t know of any others :/
