When Kevin's family gets back from Paris in the first part, they are all glad to see him, and that nothing bad happened to him, but then, next thing you know, things go back to the way they were before.

59/60. Was confused with Kevin's age in the Second movie.
Kevin throws 3 cans of paint at Harry and Marv. They think he only has 2 cans, since that's what he threw at them last year. But after they dodge the first two, they start climbing the steps, but Kevin throws a third can at them. You even hear Marvin say, "That's three!" and then Kevin throws a metal bar at them and Marv says "That's four".
How can Kevin be 10 years old in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York when he was only 8 years old in the first movie, when there's only one year between them? Did he skip a year? Did he have two birthdays?
When he says three, that's when Kevin throws the metal bar at them, then Kevin cuts the ropes holding the metal bar and it falls back to them when they are on the ground and that's when Marv says 4.
The age thing, I think it's a script mistake, I always noticed that mistake because I've seen them so many times, but in the first one he says he's 8 and in the second one he's 10.
No you're wrong because the third and fourth ones were not paint cans it was a long heavy metal bar.
@@lily94678 Yeah, you're right. I watched it the other night and it was two paint cans and two metal bars. My mistake. I'm still trying to figure out how Kevin could be eight years old in the first movie and ten in this one if it's only been one year between them.
@@FunnyFriQuiz It´s not mistake his birthday is 22 December. So technically in first movie he is still 8 when they left him home but in second movie he has 10 already.

There's 2 years between movies 1990 and 1992. Kevin is 8 in the first and 10 in the second. in real life when the first one came out he was 10. he was 9 during filming in February and March of 1990.

this has nothing to do with it but i cant understand how people think that this is a christmas movie but die hard isnt, because home and alone is about 2 guys attemping to rob someone and the kids beats the shit out of them for no reason and his whole family forgets him, and then there is die hard that is about a hostage situation, so both storylines are both so terrible.
