No the JRX series is rubbish it's one JBL's worst everspeaker series, the MRX525 are much better and they were only one step up in series from the JRX series.
ciao.
Because its a full range box. if you want strong bass then u need subwoofer with cca 600-1000w to put under dual 15" tops to achieve complete sound. Also i tought that jrx speakers are well known for bad live performance due weak hi-freq driver and solid for mobile disco because of its 500rms - 1000w program prower.
really? I think it provides with way too much high frequency, so I always turn it down a bit. A subwoofer would be optimal, but a 2x15" should be able to push some bass out, and I think these are kind of lacking in that area
If 1" 30w hf driver provides too much high freqency over dual 15" then i wonder what would u say to 3" 150w hf. This sounds more like amplifier problem without enough power to deliver to the 15" drivers and all it does is pump mids and highs because insufficient power.
using a 4x100w amp since it's an outdoor speaker running on car batteries. but even when I gave each speaker 400w with my dads pa amplifiers, the high notes were killing my ears. do you actually have a set of JRX225 speakers?
Senor Chingon, yo tengo tambien. Me Gusta Pancho Barraza
Good AMP and the JBL jrx 225 is good.

@@djteknovibe93 haha to bad they dont make the mrx series anymore but the jrx is trash
@@soundfreak8892 Yeah JBL's JRX series is the worst series the company have ever made.
@@djteknovibe93 but not to bad for 400 dollars.. you get for what you pay for
Why in your room. Jbl Xtreme is enough for a room.
@bjornii beats Even 2 Partybox 1000s are nothing bro, you need at the very minimum a jrx series to satisfy the needs for high spl
The party box is good

Great live speaker, terrible disco speaker. the bass is extremely weak.
