You can find Kirk at retail price at BigBadToyStore. I've been shopping there for years and they are very reliable. 5 dollar flat rate shipping too. I just snagged the Spock and Kirk set which made each figure slightly cheaper. Still in stock!

And as far as the elbow, sometimes it’s some glue or plastic flashing keeping the joints from bending.
I’ve been collecting these figures for quite a while now and had everything from completely frozen joints to ones so loose a stiff breeze will move them.
You may be able to work it loose if it’s important to you, if not then don’t futz with it cause it might break!
Really don't understand why these don't get the hottoys love they deserve there beautifully done and beautifully detail and way way better pricewise... I have the trio chair Khan and Picard not sure if I'll finish the rest ... I still love to get another Kirk... Wondering when we'll get admiral Kirk captain Spock and trek2 Khan or even Chris pine Kirk? Great video.
I like the Chris pine Kirk even though it's watered down versions , still happy the Kirk Spock McCoy characters are having continue adventures.
Hot Toys has the reputation for being the pinnacle of adult collecting action figures. Subsequently, they are also the most expensive figures from a retail perspective, which I think adds to some of that perception of perfection. There are other companies who do outstanding jobs on 1/6 figures that get no love, and the Quantum Mechanix Star Trek series is a good example of that.

Is there any difference? I have the 1st version? Hope they do Kirk in the green shirt.
Hurt when you said not too many members left...yeah , happy the captain still around even as grumpy as he is. I feel the same trekwise ... Haven't seen and don't care for discovery ... To me, it's tos movies and next gen only. Rest just filler but ok.
Are you planning to get the supermad bionic man? Love to get that figure.
Thinking about it. Budget is stretched kind of thin...
@@OpenByChance yeah... I feel you, I usually do kitbashes buy the decent headsculpts then clothes worry about the body later. The headsculpt and clothes usually go to 100 or so, once In a while will get a hottoy but a 400 and up , its just too crazy... Kitbash and 3 Rd Party seem the way to go , those qmx figures are a good buy when 1 St release , toys era pretty good too. Steve Austin is must have for me along w Kirk and flash Gordon , I grew up with those characters. Great video 👍 be well.
Sounds like you're figure is stiff ,kinda like a neca figure, probably gotta warm it up.
I was thinking about getting Kirk but the skin tone looks off to me with these figures, almost lifeless, or is it much better in person?

This is the current issue Spock. The older one is about the same but comes with a lot more accessories.
Cool. You mentioned in the video thar you need to pick up Kirk, he has been re-issued as well.
I think there is also a difference in the plastics used. The original Spock is a bit glossy, while the re-release is more of a matte finish. The rank braid is made out of a different material and is more flush to the sleeve.

Why are most of these figure's and well just about ever other damn thing is made in China? Spock looks so awesome. Cant they make these in America?
It probably could be made here, no idea why everyone still outsources...
