same, i call it muddy maroon. it happens when you mix too many colors together, it should technically become brown but it always ended up more purpley.
Purple is made from blue and red. Green is made from yellow and blue. I assume they started with green because they wanted to have enough time to show a video because if they started with a color like blue they’d just mix in a little red and add yellow to make it less saturated. My color theory is very basic though so take what I say with a grain of salt
