From someone who has been using both pairs for a long time, I would say Beats Studio 3 are better. I added few points below to clarify my opinion as of why I think Beats are better:
1. They are more tight around my ears which will give you a more isolated sound and feeling.
2. I listen to alot of Lofi, house, hiphop,… so the bass boosted characteristics suits my listening style pretty much perfectly.
3. Bass doesn’t feel “muddy” compared to bose QC… on the beats, it has bassboost but also the higher frequencies make the bass/kick really pop out with punch and saturation (not distorted).
4. The mini jack cable that comes with the beats headphones are much thicker, give a more durable feeling. While the mini jack cable on Bose QC are very thin, which will give you more connection problems later on (experienced some crackling myself). Also, note that on bose it has a thiner jack cable than mini jack on the headphone’s output, so finding a new cable (if it breaks) is gonna be more challenging than for the beats cable that has both sides mini jack.
The only better thing about Bose QC is that whenever you listen with a wired connection, they don't need to be charged. While beats require to be charged all the time even when you use a wired connection.
Conslusion:
For the same price range, beats is the way to go. It’s significantly better in sound quality, durability and comfort.
This is just my experience and opinion. Had been using beats studio 3 for 2 years, when they started to wear off after heavily using them (I’m a soundproducer, I would wear them 8 hours a day almost everyday or somethimes even 12 hours). After the wore off, I wanted to switch it up and bought myself a pair of bose QC. I have my Bose headphones for almost a year now and decided to buy beats studio 3 again, just because I miss the sound characteristic and feeling of Beats. I’m so happy I got them back. If you're into house, hiphop and lofi music, please go for Beats Studio 3 because it’s like peanut butter and jelly.
Beats Studio 3 are definitely my all time favourite so far. I love them. Coming from someone who has a very neutral opinion about everything and is obsessed with music in all shape and forms.

Also, are the Bose Quiet Comforts waaay less loud than the Beats Studio3’s? I just got both of them, the Bose $20 or so more expensive, I plan on returning one. The Bose is WAY more comfortable, although Beats probably much better for working out because they’re so much tighter on your head, but that makes for less comfort because something squeezing your head causes a head ache type thing after awhile. Anyways, I listen to a lot of music that I want loud, less graceful music, more bass heavy stuff, and the Beats get Waay louder, that’s my only problem with the Bose, they don’t get loud enough, although I’m sure they sound much clearer for other things.
You are right Bose produce less sound than beats. Brats have higher loud sound than BOSE but in accurate BOSE produce original accurate sound which gives feeling real world

The Sony XM4’s are by FAR the superior headphones (and on prime day, u could get a brand new pair for $250, might still be able to get a renewed pair (Amazon) for $250) they’re very loud (which was my issue with the QC 45’s, but now I realize the 45’s had more issues, because the XM4’s are better in every respect besides comfort) incredible sound quality (still talking about the XM4’s) and INCREDIBLE Bass, and comfortable. Bose QC 45’s are by far the most comfortable headphones maybe ever made, they’re insanely comfortable. It’s the only thing they have the XM4’s beat on, and probably every other headphone. But the XM4’s are still comfortable, way more comfortable than the Beats. They just sometimes get hot, like your ears sometimes get hot wearing them. Requires a little break with them off. The Beats are the worst of the 3, obviously. But they do get loud! And they do squeeze the head hard which is good for exercising. This is coming from a guy who currently has all 3 of those headphones that I’m speaking on, bought them all, and am now going to return the Bose (QC 45’s are still really great, especially if you don’t need/want loud powerful music, and want something you can wear all day/comfort important) and going to return the Beats as well. Keeping the XM4’s. My renewed XM4’s (they came absolutely perfect, $250, might still be that on Amazon renewed).
You started talking about the Sony app for the last 6 minutes of the video, I think you forgot you were comparing Bose and Beats not Sony and Beats!
I never owned headphones and I have been debating on bose vs beats. What do you think are lighter on the ears and more comfortable.

This is why many people who have autism have bose headphones instead of beats headphones. Bose is so much better for the noise cancelling and no hissing sounds. For the reason of not very good noise cancelling and with no music on there is the hissing, which can bother people with autism who have issues with sounds.

They don’t get loud enough at all, for people who like loud/bass heavy less graceful music. But the Bose are WAAAY more comfortable, if only they could get as loud as the Beats. I can’t decide which to return because both are so important to me, volume and comfort.
