      Hey man, just found your vlog and am enjoying it! I reached a $10k bankroll playing $1/2 in the second half of 2021, so now my goal for 2022 is to hit a $25k bankroll while starting to dip my toes into $2/5. Making good progress, up to $15k now. Hoping the trend continues! Good luck to you at the tables and on the vlog.

      Thanks Perdro! Well, right now I try to do ~1-2 months in a location at a time. I’m not sure if that will get old/tiring or not, but for now I like going different places. I’d say I go in spurts. So I’ll go weeks of playing/working 6 days a week, then maybe at some point take a little break. I like to go out to dinner with friends, play golf and when I’m not injured (currently am) I like to do Orange Theory or golf. Right now my main exercise is lol walking due to injury, so I’ll do like 3-4 miles usually in the AM prior to work. Poker is so much sitting, I like to get some movement in the AM. I’m not sure my life is so exciting, but i do get to do what I want when I want….

    KING What is you standard buy-in in the 5/10/25 game?

    • @LiveKingPoker
      @LiveKingPoker  Před 2 lety +4

      The game in FL is really 5/10 that people choose to make a mandatory straddle, the cap in that game is $2500 per the casino
      That said, 10/25 is on the bigger side of what I play right now, so my buy in would be 2500 probably regardless (100 Big Blinds). If I felt the game was a super super good spot and there was someone I wanted to cover I would go up to $5000 buy in, but for me this is a pretty big shot. In most instances I’d rather buy in 2500 two times before I buy in $5000 off rip. Managing your bankroll is important, so I try to stay reasonable

    So Yale, you obviously don't have permission to film there if the dealer told you to put the phone away. You should try to work that out if you intend to play there because they will kick you out. You are explicitly told that videoing like you're doing is NOT allowed. It's on one or more of the tv's nonstop. If they catch you or if someone seeing this vlog is petty and turns you in, they will either ban you or make you take some time off. Seriously this is Sovereign Land and you are underestimating the potential problem you're creating for yourself. Yes, I play there and I know most of the people involved.
    They will remove you and stop you from playing. It's not worth it. There is one guy, Lex, of Lex-o poker who got permission and I don't know if anyone else has.
    I'll say it one more time: I think you're skating on thin ice if you haven't worked this out by now. And they're going to be annoyed when they hear about this vlog if you don't have permission. They won't hear about it from me but there are plenty of people playing poker who aren't going to want to be part of your poker vlog business and not get paid for it if they have an option to complain.

    • @jamielivekingpokerproducer
