This is something I really, really, really wish power rangers had done at least once: a team that is also a family. In that they are all part of the same familial unit. Mixed families with adoptions are a thing. It'd have been a great concept.
i remember someone theorizing in a mystic force video that they probably would have the family plot from the sentai there as well, when they mentioned that the actors had a few features that would let them pass as siblings
Super Sentai isn't an adaptation of anything, whereas Power Rangers is an adaptation of Super Sentai. As a result of being an adaptation, some degree of writing has to be done around the footage that can be used. This scene was not one of those that got carried over due to GoBlue (I think it's GoBlue) being untransformed. And seeing as it's Japan, crazy stuff is to be expected occasionally.

I could see the many reasons they would leave this scene out. Yet during MMPR there were two pieces of sentai footage with the untransformed blue ranger in the same episode. At first i didn't notice it but then i watched both the sentai and power rangers episodes and found it. He was in the backround but they were alone at a random beach house so when you saw him in power rangers it was hard not to notice him.
In the episode "Zack's Birthday" The scene where Rita & Finster were talking about the Black Knight Monster, they used footage of said monster fighting Goushi (Zack's ZyuRanger Counterpart) untransformed.
I really don't like GoGoV, how they keep saying it's family themed but every danm episode they go on to shit and complain on their father, the villains were more of a family than the protagonists... but this scene had me dying of laughter.
