Oslo 2019 was his debut in the World Cup competition! | Rider in Focus

This week's rider in focus is the FEI European Junior Team Champion Thibault Philippaerts. He has made his World Cup debut with his horse Catwalk Harry in Oslo last week and followed his father's (Ludo) and brother's footsteps (Olivier & Nicola) into the senior show jumping competitions.
"Actually, we are one big team at home. My father helps me, my two brothers help me. We try to help each other as much as possible."
'The class I'm going to jump here is more technical and bigger than the junior classes I jumped. So it will be another level. I try to get some nice experiences for the future."

He is a very focused and poised young man. He has such an amazing family support system, it will help him keep his emotional balance. I was impressed that he was critical of his riding and not of the horse. Quite an impressive young man. 👍
